We Celebrate The Life Of Prophetess hilda arredondo

Prophetess Hilda Arredondo
1942-2019
Dear Ministry Friends, On January 12, 2019 Jesus called our mother home. She peacefully passed away at her residence in Opelousas, Louisiana. Our father, Jose, her husband of 62 years, her 4 children, 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren grieve the loss of our beloved mother who was a holy, praying woman of God. Sister Hilda was overcoming in her physical body for most of 2018 and being the woman of faith that she was; she continued to pray and stand on God’s healing promises. She would often say, “I have lived a blessed and full life, if God heals me or doesn’t heal me. I will continue to love and serve Him with all my heart.”

We miss our mother’s presence on this earth but we are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life, 39 years of ministry and continued legacy of prayer.  Those of you who knew her personally know that she wouldn't want us to be sad. She would want us to REJOICE knowing that she is in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus now.

Our mother and pastor loved the Lord with all her heart, mind, and soul. She spent many years on her knees praying for our nation, her family, friends and the needs of others. She was passionate for the things of God and lived her life to the fullest with boundless faith, much humility, love, and commitment for the things of God.  Her love for America—the lost, the poor, orphans and widows was evident because she was always asking the Lord for the opportunity to bless and help every person that she came in contact with. If you've had the pleasure of meeting her you soon found out that her word and integrity was absolute; her spirit was immeasurable; her approach to life was fearless because she knew God was on her side. In 1977 she gave her life to the Lord and as most of you know--in 1980 she began devoting her life to much fasting and prayer seeking the face of God. She became increasingly burdened for our nation and through God's mercy the prayer ministry, National Divine Connection was founded and Hilda's mandate to raise up intercessors and prayer warriors to pray for America began. She knew she was to rally God’s people to join her in praying for our nation, revival, and the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit revealed to her that this calling, as a faithful Intercessor, had formed the call of Prophetess to the nation and Apostle of prayerShe was our mother and to many of us—she was a pastor, teacher, advisor, prayer partner, marriage & family counselor, finance advisor and spiritual mother. We thank you for loving her the way Jesus loves us and pray God continues to bless you all the days of your life.

The Arredondo family would like to thank you for being her friend and being part of her life and thank you for being part of ours--we know the LORD is saying, “Well done my servant--well done! Your legacy of prayer will live on in the generations to come.” The messenger sleeps but the message of the importance of prayer continues to go on! I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)"For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers..."Hebrews 6:10 (NLT)

The Ministry Of Prayer Goes On & On
For Our Nation & The Needs Of Others In 2019

Prophetess Hilda Arredondo
&
Her Daughter
Debra Arredondo Crisp
After working very closely alongside my beloved mother and mentor for over 30 years her hearts desire was for me to continue the work of prayer for the Lord and for her. As her daughter, early on in life she taught me love, a strong work ethic, perseverance, integrity and to reach out to those in need. Many years later as I began to work in the ministry she taught me God’s ways, the importance of prayer and to be a Proverbs 31 woman. Over the years I grew to love the Lord and to pray as she did for our nation and those who had needs. I am honored and blessed to fulfill her wishes for the ministry.
God needs you and I to carry on the prayers needed for His people in this world. In 2006 I moved from Lafayette, Louisiana to Florida. Even though I moved to Florida I kept working for the ministry via telephone and email. I will continue working and now taking care of all ministry business here in Florida as I’ve been doing over the last 12 years.

A final newsletter will be mailed out to those of you on her mailing list. In the future; any newsletters and monthly prayer calendars will be posted to our website. Over the next few months you will see some minor changes made to update the ministry website but other than that we will continue to pray for the nation, urgent prayer requests and the needs of the body of Christ. “…if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19 (NIV)

Prayer Moves The Heart Of God
Ephesians 6:18, Matthew 5:16

A Prophetic Word From Hilda: "Prayer Goes On & On & On"

Prophetess hilda arredondo
Dear Praying Friends, The title of this newsletter is PRAYER GOES ON & ON & ON God needs you and I to carry on the prayers needed for His people in this world. I would like to share the following glorious testimony of His great need for praying people. Several months back a dear friend of the ministry, for almost 30 years went home to be with Jesus, Her name was Glenda Cormier from Lafayette, Louisiana. Glenda loved to pray and she enjoyed watching her prayers be answered. I could call her anytime night or day and knew she was going to be faithful to pray for that prayer request. At times I might be late with the newsletter and because she loved to keep up with the prayer calendar she would call me to find out if I had mailed it out or not because she had not received it. The weekend she went home to be with Jesus she had lunch on the Friday before with one of her best friends and while sharing (she pulled out the prayer calendar and said to her friend whom we will call Mrs. D) look this over you might be interested in getting involved with this special work of prayer. Now remember no-one knew that Glenda was going home to be with Jesus---that following weekend, I didn’t know, she didn’t know--no-one knew but God knew that would be their last luncheon together.  Now, I know all of this because Mrs. D whom I never met called me to ask about the Prayer Calendar. She was interested and wanted to know more about it.  The most awesome thing is that our God in heaven knew He was taking Glenda home that weekend to be with Him. He was going to make sure that the empty spot of prayer would be filled immediately. Therefore, He tapped Mrs. D on the shoulder and invited her for prayer that GOES ON AND ON AND ON!

Sometimes we may wonder how important are our prayers? This testimony should tell you--I know it will touch your heart as it did mine--that our God looked down from heaven and said I will not wait till her funeral is over and then we will fill her position on earth. He knew she was going home that weekend and needed her spot of prayer filled right away. He needed someone of His choosing. The baton of prayer was being passed on so to speak. He orchestrated that special luncheon with Glenda and Mrs. D and He chose her to carry on in Glenda’s place. He was not going to leave the spot vacant for even a moment. “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Ezekiel 22:30

~ Special To Jesus ~

Most of our praying friends pray in the privacy of their homes but He knows who they are and they are very special to Jesus…thank God for the Glenda’s who spend their lives praying for others. Glenda is sitting in heaven with Jesus today and I know she has a big smile on her face as she looks down from heaven knowing that her spot has been filled! I want to thank you for all the prayers that you have prayed over the years, “Are they in vain?” NO if our God in Jesus name took time to fill her spot before taking her home then we know how important praying people are to Him – To God Be The Glory.  In His love and service, hilda arredondo

~ Testimony Of Answered Prayer ~

I would like to share a testimony of answered prayer, we had been looking for sometime after the sale of our home for the direction God would have for us and our family but there seemed to be a lot of closed doors. One day while out for a drive with my husband we seen a small sign that said, “Land for Sale” we drove down looked and didn’t give it a second thought. About a month went by and one of our children came to us looking for land. We just happen to take them down where we had previously seen some land but they didn’t seem to be interested. We still seemed prompted to call and to our surprise it was very reasonably priced. We prayed if this was the way, God wanted us to go? Long story short, things happened so quickly that we were able to purchase the 5 acre plot. God provided every means for us to be able to get the land. Many of you know when God has a plan there will be no closed doors. I’m thankful to the ministry and for all those who pray for the needs of the body of Christ. Continue to put your trust in Him and He will direct our paths. “Trust in the Lord will all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) By NM, West Monroe, Louisiana

~ He Looks Down From Heaven ~

Praying Friends, Prayer goes on and on and on and He knew we would have many needs.  He is the only one that can provide for us. He is the God of the impossible and will lead us and guide us.  He will be our Helper.  Our help comes as we look up to the hills.  In other words help comes from above so when in need, look up and He looks down on us and our need is very important to Him.  Remember He is able when we are not able.  He opens Heaven’s door and out pour His blessings.  We serve a MIGHTY GOD who loves and cares for you and me. In His love and service, hilda arredondo

A Prophetic Word From Hilda: "2018 A YEAR, TO GIVE AND BE BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE"

Prophetess
hilda arredondo
Dear Ministry Friends – We are just finishing up the Christmas season – the “Season of Giving”.  We all feel so much happiness and joy at this time of the year – what is the secret?  It is in giving to one another but it doesn’t have to stop with the Christmas season, but rather as Christians we can continue to be givers all year long! As we bless others with our “GIVINGS” the precious blessing of joy is being released as we give and filling the atmosphere that surrounds us with blessed love. A love that opens the door to many blessings--physical, spiritual, mental and financial.  This is a year to give to others, give to the less fortunate, help your church and good works, give tithes and offerings give and give some more. Our Lord and Saviour said these words, “… It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35

You and I can sit down and share reasons why giving is so important, but I want to share one very important reason that the Holy Spirit revealed to me years ago.  A sister came over to our home years ago and while thereby  she cried because they didn’t have any food or money. At that time my husband was drawing unemployment because he didn’t have a job.  Usually for the week I would buy a big bag of pinto beans and I could serve my family of 5, different delicious bean meals and still have beans left over.  Knowing that was all I had for the coming week to feed my family, I took the bag and gave her half.  I believe that our God seen my heart that day of being a GIVER and began to develop the “heart of a giver” in me. You see that day as I gave, I fulfilled His Word “it is better to give than to receive” When you give you are planting and the more you give the more you plant and your planting in due season will bring you a harvest.  There are seasons we are called to be on the receiving end and that is quite alright  but  eventually we need to get out of  that line and begin to distribute to others who are in need—become a giver in 2018 the SECRET OF BEING BLESSED!

I can recall years back when we were developing the Morning Glory property and needed every penny for that land development venture. Meanwhile someone came to see me and shared that a brother and his family needed to get home to another state and didn’t have any money for gas and expenses and he didn’t know what to do. The only money I had was in my money-bag and not near enough to do any more land developing or pay bills. I had no savings, stocks or bonds, no money stashed away in my sock drawer for a rainy day so to speak. I called the brother over to my house and emptied my money-bag out and it was enough money to get him home. He took off happy and content, but I thought now I’m left with an empty bag with no money, what am I going to do now Jesus?

A Widow Woman Shows Up

The day went by and no sign of anymore money. That night we were already in bed when we heard a knock at our door and we got up to see who it was and a widow woman  stood at my door and handed me a brown paper bag, I asked her in but she said she could not stay but needed to go. After she left, we opened the paper bag which was full of money $9,000 dollars--enough money to pay all the bills and continue the work to develop our new property. To God be the Glory, surely it is better to give than to receive. This New Year 2018 is a year of giving – start the year off right – give, give to the Glory of God! You and yours have a blessed, happy and prosperous New Year!! Jesus will continue to walk with us leading all the way into great victories.

Also A Time To Seek God With All Your Heart

Our God supplies when we become great GIVERS. This year not only are we to be GIVERS, but SEEKERS OF GOD.   In Psalms 9:10, it reads, “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.”  What a wonderful promise to have in these trying times we are living in.  Enemy nations wanting to bring us down here in the United States, destructive weather, terrible terrorism, etc.   The good news is you and I have a great PROMISE--that if we walk hard after God in Jesus name and SEEK Him, He will never forsake us. There is a special way to seek God—WITH ALL OUR HEART. In Psalms 119:2 it reads, “Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.” Yes, again I say, seek Him with all your heart and we will find Him in a GREATER WAY IN 2018!!  When we find Him then we'll be sure that we are walking and following Him into a WONDERFUL blessed life full of His goodness, mercy and prosperity in every area. I was saved in 1976 as I was hitting rock bottom with no hope, and in deep depression and felt like I just didn’t want to live anymore.  But Jesus changed my life and gave me hope. Since then He has been my Saviour every step of the way and the only regret I have is that I didn’t come sooner in my life to know and walk with Him, but since then I have made every step count for Him Again, be blessed in 2018!  In His love and service, Prophetess hilda arredondo

A Prophetic Word From Hilda: Happy Thanksgiving, November/December 2017

Prophetess
hilda arredondo
Dear Praying Friends, In Acts 14:17 it reads, “Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.”  Acts 14:17 Our God has not left himself without witness but He always does good to us on this earth. He gave us the rain from heaven, making fruitful seasons on this earth filling our hearts with food and gladness. We are now moving quickly into the Thanksgiving holiday, which is the season of celebrating our King of Kings, the Almighty God who has graciously and generously given us food and gladness. It is a time to be grateful to the Father of lights and come before Him with hearts full of thanksgiving. Not only one day, but also everyday of the year.

On August 5, 1620, 102 Pilgrims, of them 34 were children and 30 sailors, boarded the Mayflower. It was a very, very hard voyage for them. That ship sailed alone, but with God on her side she would not fail. The Word of God would map out the way for the next 90 days across the Atlantic. All their faith was in the one God, that what He started He would finish! Surely Psalms 119:105 was lighting the way, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” It was the light of Christ leading them into the adventure of a new day. They took very little clothes, some tools and utensils for cooking, but most importantly they had their Bibles, the most precious thing that they owned and their faith. There were no bathrooms or showers and they all slept on the same deck of the ship. There was no room for the children to run and play. They all worked hard and made such sacrifices of love to get to the “New World” so they could be free in Christ. After 90 days of many hardships had passed, they reached Cape Cod; that place is now in the state of Massachusetts. William Bradford, one of the Pilgrim leaders wrote, “Many fell upon their knees and blessed the God of Heaven who brought them over the vast and furious ocean.” At one point in one of the great storms they encountered at sea, the Mayflower’s “main beam” cracked and they almost shipwrecked. Can you imagine everything in the ship was wet and damaged? Thank God that the pilgrims had brought a great iron screw (nail) to help build houses. They used that big nail to keep the beam in place. This big nail represented the Christ within. In Ezra 9:8 it reads, “And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.”

Pilgrims Had Great Faith

Ezra recognized that only a small remnant remained faithful to the Lord Jesus at that time. The Lord had acknowledged them as His own and given them a “nail” in the holy place that would lighten their eyes and revive them in their bondage. They would again build a “sure place” for Him where His honor and presence would dwell amongst them. Nothing was changed since the time of Ezra; the Lord was looking for His remnant people and found the Pilgrims. When Jesus, after His resurrection, spoke to doubting Thomas, John 20:27, “Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side and be not faithless, but believing.”  In other words see the prints in my hands and the hole in my side where those nails penetrated me in the “sure place” of Calvary. Without Christ we (America) are on dangerous waters and just like the Pilgrims if they hadn’t had their faith in Jesus, the “sure nail” needed to hold that main beam together, surely they would have failed their mission by losing their course. They would have shipwrecked and been destroyed.

Nail In A Sure Place

1 Chronicles 16:34
Isaiah 22:23 reads, “And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house.” The Pilgrims carried and believed in the “sure place” of their hearts, their faith and love for the God of the Bible. God in His mighty power made a way for the Pilgrims who had a vision for a country where they could worship God freely. These Pilgrims had such great faith and love for the God of the Bible and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. They were the founders of America. The foundation had to be laid by a people whose heart burned with the love of Jesus and knew that they would not make it unless God was on their side. As soon as they landed in the new land, they had to make rules to be governed by; therefore, they established the Mayflower Compact, an agreement that was based on the Ten Commandments of the Bible obeying God’s commands. The beginning foundation was laid on Christ. “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master-builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” I Corinthians 3:10-11 To God Be The Glory!
