"The Breastplate In
New Orleans"
“For
I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant
David’s sake.” Isaiah 37:35.
Our God was reassuring the remnant from Judah that
had escaped from the king of Assyria that He was with them and would defend
their city. She would again take root downward, and bear fruit upward. This was God’s promise to the survivors or
the remnant left there in Judah. I
believe this is still God’s Word today to His remnant people and as we continue
to pray He will continue to defend us for He is the same God yesterday, today
and forever. Just as our Lord Jesus had a remnant people back in Judah, there
are remnant people today. This
newsletter is dedicated to the New Orleans remnant brethren still left in their
city after Hurricane Katrina. Our God
has had a plan for New Orleans from its very beginnings. This city was founded by Almighty God with a
very special Biblical purpose and destiny. As I look and study the map of your
city and the New Orleans North Gate, I find some deep spiritual meanings about
the call and destiny of New Orleans hidden in its history. In Exodus 28:15-21, it reads, “And
thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work
of the ephod thou shalt make it; of
gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make
it. Foursquare it shall be being
doubled; a span shall be the
length thereof, and a span shall be
the breadth thereof. And thou shalt set in it
settings of stones, even four
rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a
carbuncle: this shall be the
first row. And the second row shall be
an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond. And the third row a ligure, an agate,
and an amethyst. And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they
shall be set in gold in their inclosings. And the stones shall be with the
names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet;
every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.” This breastplate
was a beautiful but powerful and meaningful work of art. In addition to the
twelve stones there were two more stones named Urim and Thummin. Urim meant
lights and Thummin meant perfections. The High Priest could ask it questions
and it would answer them through the stones as they appeared to be blinking,
sending them answers of yes and no to their inquiries. The two onyx stones, one on each shoulder bare
the names of the twelve tribes, six on each stone. In his governing position over Israel, the
High Priest wore the ephod with the breastplate of the twelve stones. Twelve is the number of government.
NORTH GATE OF NEW
ORLEANS
Today, looking at the North Gate of
New Orleans, we discover a wonderful hidden truth that we will discuss later in
this study. Each stone would have on it,
an engraved name of one of the twelve tribes of Israel. All these valuable
stones were set in their settings of gold.
On the first row, the first stone was a sardius and the color was red,
some refer to it as a ruby. The second
stone was a topaz, which was a golden color. Then the third was a carbuncle,
being a dark red stone or a garnet. The
second row was set with an emerald, sapphire and a diamond. The third row had a
ligure, an agate and an amethyst and the fourth row was a beryl, an onyx, and a
jasper. In 1 Peter 2:5, it reads “Ye also, as lively
stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up
spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” In both of these studies, the stones point to
the priesthood. The High Priest wore the
beautiful breastplate of judgment which was part of his ephod. Here in 1 Peter, we read that the people of
God are compared to lively stones and a holy priesthood. The New Orleans North
Gate is located in the area of twelve (12) o’clock on the city map and can be compared
to the head or the crown of the city. If
you look closely on the map, up to the very North peak of the city, you will
find streets named Emerald, Onyx, Amethyst, Garnet, Opal, Sapphire, Topaz,
Jewell, Crystal, Gem, Amber, Zircon, Turquoise, Beryl, Jade, Agate, Ruby,
Peridot and the Tourmaline Park WHICH NO LONGER EXISTS, BUT WAS ALSO NAMED
AFTER A PRECIOUS STONE.
THE PRECIOUS STONES
OF THE BREASTPLATE
These streets were all named after
many of the precious stones of the Bible and were on the breastplate,
representing the twelve tribes of Israel. These street names are located at the very top,
making up a crown of precious stone names on the North Gate. Surely it is the
crown of the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE JESUS CHRIST, THE LORD OF GLORY who sits on your North
Gate of your city. This is no accident;
it marks New Orleans as a special city destined to rule and reign with the holy
priesthood of God in authority. The high
PRIEST was the man who wore the breastplate and this PRIEST was a praying man
and governor or the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE over Israel. He went into the most holy place once a year
and prayed for himself, his household, and the nation. The gold crown that the priest wore had an
inscription on it. “And they made the plate of the holy crown of PURE GOLD, and
wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE
LORD.” Exodus 39:30. New Orleans carries the high office of the Lord’s priesthood
called to build up the spiritual house, an holy priesthood offering up
spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. New Orleans was called to be a city
of HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
THE HOLY PRIESTHOOD OF JESUS
On the other hand, it is evident that
the evil one always has a counterfeit.
It is no accident that New Orleans became known among the world as the
voodoo capital ruled by voodoo priests and voodoo priestesses... “Not so,” says
the Lord God, “but rather it was called with a high office, as a HOLY Priesthood
of Jesus Christ, and for His Glory.” Instead
the enemy came to make it his domain.
Our God in Jesus’ name wants us to rise up and repossess the gates of
this city, and the first gate to repossess is the North Gate. Where do you start? First remember the battle is the Lord’s. He has the strategy and will continue to lead
us. We are to pray in the unity of the
faith daily for the gates of the city (New Orleans). You are to bless the city (N.O.) daily by
your prayers, and also by verbalizing, “I bless you in Jesus’ name City of New
Orleans to be all that our God has called you to be.” You can pray other
blessings as the Spirit of God leads you. Not only can you bless New Orleans,
but bless your personal city. Also send
me the name of the city you live in and we are going to begin soon to claim the
gates of those cities along with you. Call, write or e-mail me and I will send you special

New Orleans. OUR BRETHREN LEFT THERE AFTER KATRINA NEED OUR HELP IN PRAYER. New Orleans will be used by the very Hand of
God to usher in revival into our nation.
We are at a crucial time in America, ready to be taken over by our enemy
spoilers; our economy is teetering on the edge and could go any minute. The
enemy nations eye us, looking to see where they can take their best shot and
finish us off as a leader nation. It is
imperative that we have revival.
PRAYING IN UNITY
I know that after reading this
newsletter many of you
will be excited to take your personal city gates
and I am too, but first things first. We
are called the United States, UNITED!
Let us work on NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA, united together as praying
people. Then your city will follow and surely
be flooded with revival. Our Jesus has a
purpose and plan for every city in America and that includes your city. New Orleans is located in the east part of the
state of Louisiana, but Louisiana is located at the south Gate of the
nation. In Ezekiel 47:1, it reads,… “…waters came down from
under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.” The water gusher came from the south
side of the altar. Louisiana is on the
south side of the altar and is chosen by Almighty God to be one of the first
leader states to usher in revival. But that will depend on us to respond to
this special and strategic prayer assignment.
REAL REVIVAL OF JESUS
In Ezekiel 47:2, it
reads, “Then brought he me out by way of the gate
northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that
looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side. It is so important here that as we
read that He brought the prophet by the way of the North Gate, we see that the
gusher of water starts on the North Gate. As you read this newsletter, it may be tempting
to many leaders to run out and try to do something to begin revival in their
church or area. I’m going to say, DON’T
DO IT. This will not be a man made or
denominational revival; just save your money and time. It will be God’s revival
and no one name will be lifted up but the name of Jesus. What can you do? Purpose
it in your heart to pray that revival will break out where the Lord wants it
and that being New Orleans, Louisiana. Just as this city has been known for its
evil, instead, as we pray, it will be known for its HOLINESS in Jesus Christ. Everything
that I’ve shared with you has come to me by revelation as I prayed and fasted. I have seen over the years what was happening
to our cities in America-over run by evil, murder, rape, etc. We must take our cities back from the hands
of the enemy and let us start with New Orleans.
If we obey, there will be great blessings upon all those who help the
cause of revival for Jesus Christ in New Orleans, Louisiana. Some of you may be wondering why you received
a 24 day clock of prayer for the North Gate of New Orleans. Now, after reading this newsletter, I believe
you will have a greater understanding.
