We Celebrate The Life Of Prophetess hilda arredondo

Prophetess Hilda Arredondo
1942-2019
Dear Ministry Friends, On January 12, 2019 Jesus called our mother home. She peacefully passed away at her residence in Opelousas, Louisiana. Our father, Jose, her husband of 62 years, her 4 children, 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren grieve the loss of our beloved mother who was a holy, praying woman of God. Sister Hilda was overcoming in her physical body for most of 2018 and being the woman of faith that she was; she continued to pray and stand on God’s healing promises. She would often say, “I have lived a blessed and full life, if God heals me or doesn’t heal me. I will continue to love and serve Him with all my heart.”

We miss our mother’s presence on this earth but we are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life, 39 years of ministry and continued legacy of prayer.  Those of you who knew her personally know that she wouldn't want us to be sad. She would want us to REJOICE knowing that she is in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus now.

Our mother and pastor loved the Lord with all her heart, mind, and soul. She spent many years on her knees praying for our nation, her family, friends and the needs of others. She was passionate for the things of God and lived her life to the fullest with boundless faith, much humility, love, and commitment for the things of God.  Her love for America—the lost, the poor, orphans and widows was evident because she was always asking the Lord for the opportunity to bless and help every person that she came in contact with. If you've had the pleasure of meeting her you soon found out that her word and integrity was absolute; her spirit was immeasurable; her approach to life was fearless because she knew God was on her side. In 1977 she gave her life to the Lord and as most of you know--in 1980 she began devoting her life to much fasting and prayer seeking the face of God. She became increasingly burdened for our nation and through God's mercy the prayer ministry, National Divine Connection was founded and Hilda's mandate to raise up intercessors and prayer warriors to pray for America began. She knew she was to rally God’s people to join her in praying for our nation, revival, and the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit revealed to her that this calling, as a faithful Intercessor, had formed the call of Prophetess to the nation and Apostle of prayerShe was our mother and to many of us—she was a pastor, teacher, advisor, prayer partner, marriage & family counselor, finance advisor and spiritual mother. We thank you for loving her the way Jesus loves us and pray God continues to bless you all the days of your life.

The Arredondo family would like to thank you for being her friend and being part of her life and thank you for being part of ours--we know the LORD is saying, “Well done my servant--well done! Your legacy of prayer will live on in the generations to come.” The messenger sleeps but the message of the importance of prayer continues to go on! I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)"For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers..."Hebrews 6:10 (NLT)

The Ministry Of Prayer Goes On & On
For Our Nation & The Needs Of Others In 2019

Prophetess Hilda Arredondo
&
Her Daughter
Debra Arredondo Crisp
After working very closely alongside my beloved mother and mentor for over 30 years her hearts desire was for me to continue the work of prayer for the Lord and for her. As her daughter, early on in life she taught me love, a strong work ethic, perseverance, integrity and to reach out to those in need. Many years later as I began to work in the ministry she taught me God’s ways, the importance of prayer and to be a Proverbs 31 woman. Over the years I grew to love the Lord and to pray as she did for our nation and those who had needs. I am honored and blessed to fulfill her wishes for the ministry.
God needs you and I to carry on the prayers needed for His people in this world. In 2006 I moved from Lafayette, Louisiana to Florida. Even though I moved to Florida I kept working for the ministry via telephone and email. I will continue working and now taking care of all ministry business here in Florida as I’ve been doing over the last 12 years.

A final newsletter will be mailed out to those of you on her mailing list. In the future; any newsletters and monthly prayer calendars will be posted to our website. Over the next few months you will see some minor changes made to update the ministry website but other than that we will continue to pray for the nation, urgent prayer requests and the needs of the body of Christ. “…if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19 (NIV)
