The Silver Trumpet Announces:

"THE LOST DONKEY"
By: Prophetess hilda arredondo
In I Samuel 9:1-3 it reads, “Now there was a man of Benjamin, whose name was Kish, the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Bechorath, the son of Aphiah, a Benjamite, a mighty man of power. And he had a son, whose name was Saul, a choice young man, and a goodly: and there was not among the children of Israel a goodlier person than he: from his shoulders and upward he was higher than any of the people. And the asses of Kish, Saul’s father, were lost. And Kish said to Saul his son, Take now one of the servants with thee, and arise, go seek the asses.” Saul was a tall, nice looking, and well behaved young man. For Saul, the son of a mighty man of power, this seemed to be just another ordinary day on the farm. His father’s donkeys had strayed away and now were lost. His father needed his son to go out and find them. Therefore, Saul picked out a servant to go with him on this errand. This was just part of being a farmer, animals straying away, and sons being sent to find them were common. But because we serve a great and mighty God who has plans for our lives, Saul’s life was about to drastically change. His date with destiny was awaiting him unbeknownst to him. Our God in Jesus’ name who looks down from heaven takes what appears to be an ordinary day and turns it into an unexpected “date with destiny” as we will see as we read on.
ISRAEL REJECTS GOD
In Jeremiah 29:11, the promise of God's word states, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God had a purpose and a plan for His people Israel. Israel had rejected the sovereign rule of God. Up to this point in history they had Samuel, the prophet, as their governor and judge who had replaced the Eli priesthood whom God had rejected. He had let that corrupted priesthood run their course to the end, and then had Samuel ready for that timely moment in history to make him judge over Israel. God is never in a hurry and waited for Eli to run the course of a generation – 40 years. Today, He is still not in a hurry and will do what He needs to do in due season with a modern day corrupted priesthood, just as in the day of Samuel. Samuel was an honorable man and full of integrity. He was raised in the house of God learning His ways and was a pure, consecrated vessel as he stepped up to the place of service to lead Israel.
MANY CALLED, FEW CHOSEN
Samuel’s name was called out by Almighty God and he heard and responded to the mighty task of being judge over Israel. Many are called, but few are chosen-Samuel had been chosen! Later, as time went by, we get an idea of what kind of leader Samuel turned out to be. At the end of his reign Samuel stood before Israel and said in I Samuel 12:3-5, “Behold, here I am: witness against me before the Lord, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you. And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither has thou taken ought of any man’s hand. And he said unto them, The Lord is witness against you, and his anointed is witness this day, that ye have not found aught in my hand. And they answered, He is witness.” No one could point the finger at Samuel for any wrongdoing. Now here we are, Samuel is old and retires from his post and his sons are moving in to be judges over Israel, but something was not quite right. “And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment. Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah. And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.” I Samuel 8:3-5. This was another point in history that would change Israel’s course – to become like other nations at their own request. They no longer wanted the rule of the God of the Universe. Not because He had failed them in His holiness and rule but because honest, holy men full of the Holy Ghost was nowhere to be found. Most were after money and took bribes, perverted justice, and had “Respect of Men.”
MISSING INGREDIENTS
Sounds like some of the church problems of today. The problem of that day and still today was no sanctification and consecration of the office. These missing ingredients, so to speak, had caused a problem then and are still causing a problem today in our churches. Fast talking men and women who have placed themselves into the office of the priesthood are full of sensual and evil lusts, dishonest, liars, greedy, and lovers of money. Many have not gone through the sanctification and consecration necessary to stand in the office. That is the problem with some of our nation’s spiritual leaders. I thank God for the few among us who are consecrated men and women, but it is not a majority. For this reason there is little “fire of revival” in our churches. Consecrated men and women that bring true preaching and teaching will ignite the hearts of the listeners – stirring them to embrace Him (Jesus) and lay their sin and worldly lifestyles down. Consecration is the vein of fire that pours out of those vessels. It brings a hunger and a thirst after righteousness. So now, let us look back at Israel again, they wanted a king. Samuel was shocked over their request. “But the thing displeased Samuel when they said Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord. And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but have rejected me, that I should not reign over them”. I Samuel 8:6-7. From that point on Israel would have their way, God who knew best would let them go to settle for second best. The prophet represented the heart of God leading them, but now they wanted man to rule them as other nations. Yet we see God's mercy and love for His people, the promise of scripture that He would never leave them or forsake them would always ring true.
THE LOST DONKEYS
God now leads them to a king—Saul and the lost donkeys. He and his servant set out to look for donkeys and they look and look and cannot find them. Yet, on the other hand, God is working and setting up all the steps of Saul to accomplish his destiny. He is out looking for his father’s donkeys. No other thought is on his mind, just being obedient to the task. God is planning a sacrifice of the people in the high place, and a table is being set for Saul to honor him as the upcoming king over Israel. Church, Jesus holds our destiny. Saul had to go to the high place to hear that his life was about to change to bring about his destiny. Do you want to know about your destiny? Then you will have to go to a “high place” if you’re looking for your destiny. It was in the high place that God revealed to Saul God's plan and purpose for his life. It was in the high place that a table of honor was set for him. Also, in a high place the vision is broader, you can see further then you can in a low place. The whole view is clearer there. In a high place you can see what paths are best to take and the paths not to take.
AN APPOINTMENT WITH DESTINY
Are you looking for something? Or possibly think that you’re going a certain way to look for a specific thing? Does it appear to be another normal day for you, as it was for Saul? But suddenly a “Divine Appointment” pops up in your path bringing changes that affect you and your whole life. You will never be the same again – your destiny is about to begin. You see we never know what our God is preparing for us. Your thought may be, I’m just looking for something. Saul was on a “Common Errand” looking for his father’s strays. But when they couldn’t find the donkeys a thought came to the servant, “There is a prophet in this area who is very accurate, let us ask him about our lost donkeys.” Immediately after asking where the seer was, they were directed to the Prophet Samuel. I Samuel 9:13-17 says, “As soon as ye be come into the city, ye shall straightway find him, before he go up to the high place to eat: for the people will not eat until he come, because he doth bless the sacrifice; and afterwards they eat that be bidden. Now therefore get you up; for about this time ye shall find him. And they went up into the city: and when they were come into the city, behold Samuel came out against them, for to go up to the high place. Now the Lord had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying, Tomorrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me. And when Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said unto him, Behold the man who I spake to thee of! This same shall reign over my people.”
OUR CHOICE MAY NOT BE GOD’S BEST
God had already informed Samuel, that He would put a man in his path that would be the one to reign over Israel and here he was – Saul, the son of Kish. This was not God's best, He wanted to be their king, yet He would still give them the king they wanted and they would have to live with their decision. In I Samuel 9:18-20, it reads, “Then Saul drew near to Samuel in the gate, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, where the seer’s house is. And Samuel answered Saul, and said, I am the seer: go up before me unto the high place; for ye shall eat with me today, and tomorrow I will let thee go, and will tell thee all that is in thine heart. And as for thine asses that were lost three days ago, set not thy mind on them; for they are found…” Samuel told Saul not to worry about the donkeys, they were found and now what seemed like a wild goose chase turned out to be Saul’s “divine appointment” with his destiny—to be the first king over Israel. It appeared that he was out looking for lost donkeys, but God used the donkeys to get Saul to cross Samuel’s path and get him to go where He wanted him to go. Church, many times God will use a certain situation that affects us in our everyday lives to get us where He needs us. We may think it’s about this or about that, but really it’s about getting us to our destiny. Since His thoughts are higher than our thoughts He will use whatever He needs to get us there. Our Jesus has a purpose for everything in our lives and God's plan will come to pass as the Holy Spirit leads. Out of the many experiences I’ve had over the years with the Holy Spirit, I would like to share with you the one that changed my life forever and brought me to my destiny.
LOOKING FOR THE ALL-AMERICAN DREAM
Many years ago my husband and I were without jobs. At that time (1980) we lived in the Ohio area which had become economically depressed. The auto and steel industry was struggling and the steel mills and factories were laying off workers and some were closing down. Our driving thoughts were to find better jobs so that we could continue pursuing the All-American dream. Nothing wrong with that – but if God has a dream that He wants you to pursue then He will do His best to get us there, just as Saul. He was looking for lost donkeys, yet the day of his destiny was at hand! Church, if we are born again then we are His children. He loves us and the negative circumstances sent our way, our Lord will use them to get us to our destiny. Never in our wildest imagination did we think that Louisiana would be the place where our God would lead us to those new jobs.
A DIVINE APPOINTMENT OF PRAYER
Through many circumstances (too many to write about in this letter) our family ended up in Louisiana in 1980. We were looking for the All-American dream, but our Lord had other plans for me—my destiny was waiting for me in Louisiana. I needed God so desperately in my life at that time and still do and He needed me. Here I was looking for a job, but He had a job waiting for me—a job of prayer--The National Divine Connection Of Prayer was waiting to be birthed. The Lord would bring me in touch with some of the most wonderful praying people in the nation. A faithful committed people that would be willing to join me and pray for America to repent and turn back to God so we could have a mighty revival. This year will be twenty-seven (27) years since we set out to look for those jobs – a step that would change my life forever. While looking for that job Louisiana became a “Divine Appointment” of prayer for me and my real job was assigned – Prayer for America. I have never been so fulfilled and happy and He has always taken care of me and my family in every area. Are you looking for something today? If you are – don’t be surprised – the destiny of God could be waiting right around the corner for you! To God Be the Glory! Thank you so much for reading this message. THE SILVER TRUMPET ANNOUNCES:THE TRUE SHEPHERD

In Luke 15:1-6, we read about our Lord Jesus, and His wonderful love, “Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. And he spake this parable unto them, saying, What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends, and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.” In this scripture we read about a true example of a “Good Shepherd” -- the ninety-nine were in safety in the fold, but one strayed off and now was lost. THE GOOD SHEPHERD was so concerned about the one that strayed and was NOW lost. His hope was that he would find the lost sheep; therefore, he kept looking, never giving up hope until He found the “lost one”. Later with great rejoicings He called his friends and neighbors to share the wonderful news-THE LOST SHEEP HAS BEEN FOUND! Just recently, you and I and the whole world watched on TV as 33 Chilean Miners were pulled up “one by one” out of an “earthen coffin” where they had been buried alive for 70 days. This could have turned out to be a terrible disaster leaving 33 families or loved ones to deal with the terrible heartache of losing a husband, father, or a brother. Yet, God in His mercy intervened and every one of them were spared. In the last ten years we have seen our share of disasters here in the U.S. and we have not been as successful as Chili was. Why? Was that luck? No I don’t believe in luck, so what was it? It was their genuine love in action for their fellowman and trust in God that made them successful.
PRAYER IS THE KEY
First of all, a humble people gathered round the mine’s site and kept vigils of prayer round the clock and never stopped crying out to God till the victory came. There were no outside organizations that came to say, “You can’t pray here on these public grounds or some person that said, “If you have a right to pray here to your God, so do we.” No, none of that--THEY WERE IN UNITY ABOUT WHOM THEY WERE PRAYING TO - THE ONE GOD OF THE BIBLE. Many times we are in disunity here in America - with all our Gods and religions and who can pray, where, and who can’t. You see they understood that only the ONE GOD could help them—Yes God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. They demonstrated as a country united, “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” Ephesians 4:4:-6.
LOVE THY NEIGHBOR
Secondarily, their President Sebastian Pinera, a man of faith in the One God of the Bible, was quoted in Internet News: “Chilean President Sebastian Pinera expressed his gratefulness and said…God is great and the help of my God is going to make it possible to…may God bless and save the miners trapped and bring them back to safety…” He never went away on a long holiday to vacation, or to enjoy pleasures while he had precious men who were bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh down in a mine buried beneath the earth. He was in constant care of those men and was on that site as much as his schedule would allow during those seventy days. He surely was a friend that stuck closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24) and exercised God’s word, “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Galatians 5:14. He put his best heads of leadership together in looking for a solution and in humility sought out "world class experts" and together came up with a brilliant idea the “metal capsule”, then had it built as quickly as possible, no bills to be passed slowing up the process, just did what needed to be done, because 33 lives were at stake! The Bible tells us that in the multitude of counselors there is safety! (Proverbs 11:14). He was not too proud to consult others. Yes, they were successful the first time as they went down into the shaft to get the first man out. Chili’s President can be compared to the shepherd who lost the one sheep, leaving the others because he knew they were safe, and went after the 33 who were in danger and did not rest until he seen the last man out and united with their families in great rejoicings. He loved his men and in GREAT LEADERSHIP of love led HIS COUNTRY with CONFIDENCE COMFORTING all of them during this time of almost a DISASTER “WAITING TO HAPPEN.”He was diligent like the shepherd in Luke 15, and went after those men until he pulled every last one out of that mine.
COMPASSION IN ACTION
As soon as he pulled them out there was no lengthy pages of bills to be passed on how to compensate these men, but immediately each man was given $10,000 dollars and a monthly pay check of $1,600.00. Church, Sebastian Pinera did not say in 30, 60 or 90 days you will get a check, but they the (miners) were immediately compensated. He did not want them to have any more anxiety than they had experienced by being concerned about how they were going to take care of their families and catch up on their bills. This President could trade shoes with those miners in their needs. He acted like a shepherd who had mercy and compassion--he could identify. Although he is a billionaire President, we could think He doesn’t know what those men are feeling. I believe if we look back in his life, we can find a time that he didn’t have the riches of this life, but rather demonstrated a virtue that every good leader should have, HE NEVER FORGOT WHERE HE CAME FROM!!
FULFILL THE LAW OF CHRIST
Where has the mercy and compassion of America gone? Still today there are people from as far back as Katrina to the present Gulf disaster who have received none or very little compensation-still waiting for help. Some of our leaders, here in America, can sit in their ivory tower homes warm/cool in comfort with absolutely no need, while others do without and it doesn’t bother them! Oh, America how you've lost your love for your fellowman? President Sebastian Pinera demonstrated Galatians 6:2, “ Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” He did the best for his neighbor! The last man out of that mine who was a supervisor to the group of men down in the mine waited till all others had gone up and then was ready to come up. This man also had a real love for his fellowman. He knew his responsibility and was willing to lay down his life for the rest of those men. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13” Anything could have happened to him while being the last one out, but rather he chose to trust in His God and we could say, “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say;” Psalms 124:1 or we could say, if it had not been the Lord who was on President Sebastian Pinera or Chili side. Chili can now say, “Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 124: 7 -8.
MESSAGE TO ALL THE WORLD
The whole world watched this event, but there was a message that our God sent to the whole world, yes, the God who made HEAVEN AND EARTH. Chili is not a proud country, but rather a country populated with humble people that knew they needed God’s help and when that time came God raised up a President with a true shepherd qualities who went after 33 lost sheep and was successful because of their unity in the one God of the Bible. We can ask - Why have we not been as successful? Because the majority of our leaders and most of America have forgotten God. As the UNITED STATES WE NEED THE ONE GOD TO BE WITH US ONCE AGAIN. “For the kingdom is the Lord’s: and he is the governor among the nations.” Psalms 22:28 The above scriptures that I used in this newsletter were never quoted publicly by the Chileans nor were they hung out for the world to see. As I prayed over the 70 days, the Lord revealed to me that THEY LIVED THEIR FAITH . Just as Christ said that men should be read as epistles, the Chileans lived their faith and were read as epistles for the world to see. My dear praying friends, thank you so much for your part in helping Chili with prayer. I know there were many of you who showed the love of God, bent your knees and prayed for Chili. I know Chili is so very grateful. To God be the Glory!

The Silver Trumpet Announces:

"Our Children Will Return"
By: Prophetess hilda arredondo
“At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.” Jeremiah 31:1 The first thing mentioned in this verse of scripture was not that God wanted to be the Lord of one person, but rather He wanted to be the God of the families of Israel. He is the same God of yesterday and today; nothing’s changed. He still wants to be the God of all the families because He loves the family unit. A family serving the Lord sends a strong message of faith to a lost and dying nation such as America. When families are torn apart by divorce, pornography, adultery, and alcohol, there is no witness for Christ. But, on the other hand, a strong and true Christian family is the hope and backbone of a city, state, and nation. In the above scripture God wanted to be recognized as the Lord of the families of Israel and wanted them to act as His people.
WHO IS LORD OVER THE HOME
Many times in America and in the church, God is not recognized as the LORD OF THE HOME. Instead, television, video games, pornography, alcohol, and drugs are the things recognized as LORD OF THE HOME. Why? These can become evils that rule the home instead of the Lord. Disobedient, rude children run the home, talking back to their parents (the spiritual heads), telling them what to do, what they want, and taking over the home. These homes are out of God's spiritual order. When a home is out of spiritual order then the blessings of God are hindered and blocked, just as the clogged arteries of the heart cut down the flow of blood and eventually cause a heart attack. The Christian family unit is the strong heart of America, pumping healthy blood into the very communities of our country. But because the spiritual order of the home is perverted by Dad NOT taking his place, letting the children run rampant with drugs, alcohol, porn, and other evils, we have the same trouble—clogged up spiritual arteries, pumping bad blood, blocking the flow of blessings from heaven above, causing the heart of America, (the family unit) to have heart attacks. If there is not a change very soon, one of these days the family unit of America will have a massive heart attack and die and be no more.
SEEDS OF REBELLION WILL SPROUT
Many times these same wayward children described above are sent to the church, hoping that someone can do something with the “seed of rebellion” that is out of control. As children grow up in the home without the disciplines of the Word of God, and the example of the Word, we begin to see the “Monsters” we have created. Many times, we learn the parents’ role according to Dr. X and his most recent book on raising children, or a self-esteem book with worldly principles of psychology instead of the Word of God. I don’t have anything against “self help books” but it is “The Book”—the Bible that will truly instruct us. We are flooded with this kind of teaching on modern day radio programs, television and in books, both secular and Christian. With all the books and programs we have today, we should have already turned all the families in America back to God. However, that is not the case. Instead, more broken homes and families continue to be destroyed. Our young children persist in having no respect for human life, becoming bloodthirsty murderers more and more each day.
GROSS DARKNESS COVERS THE PEOPLE
In Isaiah 60:1-2 it reads, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people…” We are informed in this scripture that there will be a time that gross darkness will cover the people. Gross means “Much” of something, but among other definitions, it also means vulgar and obscene. I truly believe that the floods of gross (much) darkness coming through the filth of pornography, sexual immorality, murder, and rebellion of our nation (against the laws of God) are opening us up to the hour that Isaiah the prophet is speaking about in the above scripture. Yet, Isaiah further prophesied, “…but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” I also truly believe that in the midst of all this confusion, darkness, and filth coming upon the family unit, that the “true church” will arise with the Joshua anointing. It will shine with the glory of God and many will turn to the Lord and be saved in this sad hour of darkness and hopelessness.
A SPECIAL FAMILY MAN NAMED JOSHUA
Most of us know Joshua as the popular man of the Bible who marched around Jericho seven times and took the city when the trumpets were blown. But there is something very special and greater about the man Joshua that made him the strong leader of the nation of Israel, and of his own home. He was a family man and the spiritual head of his family. He was going to follow the Lord, and so was his family. They were going to respect the Lord's commandments by becoming DOERS of them. His authority as Dad, the spiritual head, was not in question. There was no guessing about who was in charge. He instructed the spiritual family of God, as well as his own family, to fear the Lord and serve the Mighty God with all sincerity and faithfulness by getting rid of, and throwing away, the gods of idolatry. Today, the spirit of Joshua declares in this new wave of revival, “Get rid of the alcohol, drugs, pornography, foolishness, and sin out of your personal life, Dad, and also out of your home”. If yours is a Christian home, then the spiritual head (man or woman, whatever the case) has to declare and stand for righteousness. Our children cannot dictate to us their lifestyle of evil and sin. We cannot house evil just because they are our children. If we do, we are condoning sin and love our children more than we love our Lord—they’ve become the idolatry of our hearts!
CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YE WILL SERVE
Joshua took that step and declared, “…if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15. He was simply saying, “If serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, or if you’re not willing to obey the Lord and follow His commandments, then decide today whom you are going to serve. But I, as the spiritual authority and Dad over this family, am making a decision for Christ in this home and we are going the way of the Word of God, which is the path of glorious light, peace, joy, and blessing.”
LETTING GO AND LETTING GOD
I’m sure many of you reading this booklet have been put to the same test as I have. Over the years, I’ve had to make painful decisions and stands concerning my four children and their involvement with the god's of this world. I can recall a situation with my only son, the apple of my eye, the son I dearly love. When he turned 15, the “Seeds of Rebellion” that I allowed to be planted into his heart began to surface and stare me in the face. At this time I was a young Christian and the only one saved in the family. Dad was not walking with Jesus and I was making a “Turn Around” for the Glory of God, desiring that he and the children receive Jesus and walk with Him. They were refusing and kicking hard against the pricks. I was constantly in prayer for them at that time. Nevertheless, my son was rebelling and one day I found a pornographic poster under his bed. I was shocked, to say the least, and could hardly believe that our son would be involved in such an evil. Righteous anger rose up over this matter and I confronted him with it. At that time our home was in the process of being cleansed up by the Holy Ghost of evil leavening influences. I not only wanted my life to glorify Jesus but I also wanted a home that would glorify the Lord. I was furious to think that he would bring such evil into our home. Just as Joshua declared to his household, I also had to declare the same to my son that day. “If it’s undesirable for you to serve the Lord in holiness in this home, then you need to make up your mind what you’re going to do, but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord and there will be none of that in this home.”
OUR HOME WAS SHAKEN BY THE LORD
That confrontation cost me something—my precious and only son, the apple of my eye; the son that God had blessed us with decided to NOT throw away his god. Rather, he left the river of life Jesus, his church, his family, and his home to go serve the gods of the Amorites of pornography, drugs, and alcohol, who were on the other side of the flood and in Egypt (the world). Jesus came that day and struck the lintel of our house and our home was shaken. Although it cost me a painful ripping away of my heart which I could barely stand, I could not compromise the work of the cross, the holiness, and blessing of God that was already evident in our home. Our son decided to leave us and go live his way and I had to let him go with a pain in my heart, that only another mother can understand and feel. This was such a painful experience that words cannot explain. It was like something had been torn and ripped away from me. I wept and prayed and could hardly sleep that first week. In my pain and agony, I went to the Lord about it. He spoke to me to let him go, not to the devil, but rather turn him over to Him; pray daily for his salvation and go on and serve Him in the work of the ministry.
CHILDREN CAN BREAK OUR HEARTS
For the next six years or so I hardly knew this son; sometimes I didn’t know whether he was dead or alive. He was running with the world’s crowd and many times in much danger, but I had to keep going and rejoicing in my Lord and continue to work in His Kingdom. One time he was brought to us during a church service (overdosed) which I didn’t know at the time. His eyes rolled back in his head and his whole body was shaking. He appeared to be out of his mind—I thought he was dying. The prayers of the saints and God's faithfulness brought him through and after a few days of nursing him back to health. He was gone again. He rarely came to see us and there was little or no contact, often for months at a time. As a mom I wanted to hold on to my son, to keep him close to me in safety, but the Lord again instructed me to pray for him daily, cover him with His blood, and reminded me, “I’ve got everything under control.” For some reason, moms want to camp out, sit, cry, and wait on their children, till the home completely lines up and every one of our children are walking righteously. We want everything to be in perfect running order so we can go on with what God has called us to do. What an awakening I had! The Lord said, “You cannot sit down on the job of prayer. You must go on without your son, and if necessary, go on without all four of your children.” He instructed me to pray faithfully for their salvation, put them in His care, pray for their safety (Psalm 91) and He would take care of the rest. What a tall order for us moms and dads who have birthed, loved, and raised those children—to let them go serve the gods of the Amorites, the gods on the other side of the flood, when they are not wanting to serve the Lord.
MAKING A STAND FOR CHRIST WILL COST US
Our decision to serve Christ as a family had divided our family. Yes, Church, sometimes our “Stand in Christ” will cost us our family in the beginning, but as we refuse to compromise and go on to serve Him, eventually, those children will get tired of the gods of the Amorites, the gods beyond the flood and come home to Jesus and their families. Our son eventually did exactly that and came home to Jesus, to us as his parents, and later to a special woman who became his wife. Now they have four little girls and one son that they are raising in church, and have planted them in a Christian school, making sure that the Word of God is being deposited into their little hearts. He is a hard working son and “Dad” who is serving in his church. Our God is faithful and surely His promise to me years before that He had “everything under control” has now come to pass. Today, many years later, we have not only a restored marriage, but a broken and scattered family has become a restored family of God in modern day America because of Jesus and His blood shed at Calvary.
PHARAOH, LET THE CHILDREN GO
When Moses went to Pharaoh to ask him to let the people go, Pharaoh responded, “…Go, serve the Lord your God: but who are they that shall go? In other words, “Go ahead and go; you are bent on going, but who is going with you?” Moses responded, “…We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go…”Exodus 10:8-9 Moses said, “We are all breaking off the yokes of bondage and nothing that belongs to us is staying behind. We are not leaving behind our sons and our daughters and everything that belongs to us we are taking.” Then Pharaoh said, “Not so: go now ye that are men, and serve the Lord…” Exodus 10:11. In other words, Pharaoh said to them, “You’re not taking your sons and daughters; you older men can go, but not your children. I am going to keep that generation.” Well, Church, our God is still the same God of yesterday; He does not change, He will do for us what He did for them. Moses got stubborn, and the people with him got stubborn and declared, “Pharaoh, hear this, the God who set us free will also set our children free. They will not stay behind in bondage serving you and making your bricks, but they are coming with us.” Beloved, they did come out under the Mighty Hand of God. I say to you, God loves families and if you’re out of bondage, but your children are still in bondage to alcohol, drugs, evil music, and pornography, then stand your ground and declare to the devil, “They will not serve you, they are coming out to serve the living God”. And they will!
HIS PROMISE TO RESTORE WILL COME TO PASS
In Jeremiah 31:2 it reads, “Thus saith the Lord, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.” God said to the generation of that time, “I will care for you as I cared for the families of Israel who escaped Egypt.” Today, God is saying the same to us, “Just as I cared for those families who left Egypt, I will care for you”. For long ago, God had made a covenant with Israel, saying, “I have loved you, O my people, with an everlasting love; with lovingkindness I have drawn you to me. I will rebuild your nation, O virgin of Israel: You again will be happy and dance merrily with the timbrels. Again you will plant your vineyards upon the mountains of Samaria and eat from your own gardens there.” Jeremiah 31:3-5. Because we have a covenant with better promises, He will do the same for us in modern day America; just trust Him. He will rebuild again and restore your families because of His loving kindness.
SOW IN TEARS, REAP IN JOY
In Psalms 126:5-6 it reads, “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Over the years, many of us have sowed tears of prayer for our children who are not serving the Lord, backslidden, or whatever the situation, but our tears have watered the precious seed of our intercession and doubtless again, we will come with the sheaves of our salvation. Our children are leaving the land of the Amorites on the other side of the flood and Egypt, and they are coming home again to Jesus and to us.
A FULL TWENTY YEAR CIRCLE OF CELEBRATION
Just recently, my husband and I, with our four children and their children (17 of us) were in Lafayette, Louisiana celebrating seventeen (17) years of ministry. I wanted all the children to see our “humble beginnings” and also meet the family of God in South Louisiana who has faithfully stood with us over the years. (I’m also very thankful to all of you who came, including those who drove great distances, some from other states, to attend our celebration in Lafayette.) My stand for the salvation of my entire household really began in Lafayette and I was returning with my four children and their children, singing songs of joy. I came back to where I had stood alone, although Jesus was always with me. Twenty years later, I was making a full circle to the very same place and church, giving witness of Jesus Christ’s faithfulness—the salvation of my entire household. Our Lord has been gracious and merciful to the Arredondo family, and our witness is, “Prayer Changes Things”. We must not ever lose hope or give up on our children!
OUR CHILDREN WILL RETURN
As the watchman declared in Jeremiah 31:6-7, “For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God. For thus saith the Lord; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O Lord, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.” Today, the modern day watchmen cry the same to us, “Come, remnant people, let us go up to Mount Zion; let us climb higher. The remnant people are the praying families who serve the Lord in holiness. He promises to turn your mourning into joy, comfort you, and make you rejoice from your sorrow.” I declare that the hour is upon us that many of the praying remnant’s children are coming home to Jesus and to their families. The Silver Trumpet Announces:

"New Year Coming In"
By: Prophetess hilda arredondo
Dearest Ministry Friends, We are quickly approaching the Fall Festivals. On September 9, 2010 Israel will Celebrate the Lord’s Festival of Rosh Hashanah, the New Year, which is ushered in with the loud sound of the Ram’s Horn. For the next twenty-two (22) days the festival continues with the Day of Atonement followed by the Celebration of Tabernacles bringing in the Fruit Harvest. In Psalms 89:15, it reads, “Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.” The joyful sound was the sound of the ram’s horn announcing the upcoming festivals and “Blessed” were the people that recognized the sound and moved into celebrate the festival. In Numbers 10:10, it reads, “Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets…” The “Day Of Your Gladness” referred to the festivals. On that day, (Rosh Hashanah) the trumpeteer would cover his head with his shawl and make three blasts with the ram’s horn. Israel believed the sound would reach God in Heaven. There was total silence, prayers were answered, and the heavens opened. The old year would close off and the New Year would begin. The First blast made reference to the Kingdom of God and the Holiness of God’s name. It called for repentance by announcing the upcoming ten (10) awesome days – known as Yomin Noram that closed ten days (10) later on Yom Kippur. It was a time to search their heart for sin and get right with God. For us as the Body of Christ, we can use this festival, to search our hearts for any hidden sin of the heart. We can also pray for our loved ones to come to the kingdom of God and pray for our nation’s repentance. The second Blast was for “remembrance.” It reminded the Lord of the covenant relationship with his people and to deal gently with them not according to merit but according to his precious promises. Today we remember as born again Christians the same that we are His covenant people therefore “Keeping Grace” is ours, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” Romans 5:8-9.
Now the third blast was to confound and to confuse Satan who came to accuse Israel on New years Day, bringing before the Lord all their short coming and sins. For us again as Christians in Revelations 12:10-11, it gives us a promise, “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” During this same season the book of life was opened. The book of life had three books inside. Revelation 20:12, “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works”.
Now in the first book of life, the righteous were registered and they received rewards of life, welfare, prosperity, peace and security from all manner of evil. In the book of John 11:25, it reads, Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me though he were dead, yet shall he live.” Because of Jesus you and I have life and have it more abundantly. He has promised us Peace, Security, Prosperity, Health and Divine Protection from all evil. If you closely look at this season you will see the festival more clearly than ever. The second book was for the intermediate, the “lukewarm” which is the group of people who are neither all good or all bad and they are given ten (10) days to renounce their “lukewarmness.” Depending on their repentance they get judgment or blessing, life or destruction, riches or poverty, health or hurt, peace and safety or insecurity. Have you been leading a life of lukewarmness? You don’t do a lot of bad, but you don’t do a lot of good. Then this is the season to repent. This is the season many that stay in that terrible state of “lukewarmness” will receive the above sentences. In the book of Revelation 3:15-16, it reads, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” This Is The Season To Draw Close To Jesus. Now in the third book the wicked are judged. In Psalms 69:28, it reads “Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.” Wickedness will be judged this season. Where will our nation stand in this judgment? America will continue to be judged because her wickedness outweighs the good tilting the scales with evil causing the judgment to fall upon her. Our wealth and economy will plummet and there will be famine and the way of prosperity in America will be no more. The judgment will come by way of disasters, weather judgments, people losing their homes and possessions. Our God will no longer bless her as in the past because she has turned her back on God. Now on the other hand, we the people of God, set apart by the blood of Jesus Christ will continue to be Blessed, we will Receive Rewards of Life, Welfare, Prosperity, Peace and Security from all manner of evil.

This season of the fall festival is the season of change, be ready to obey and move with the change. There are three major peak seasons of harvest throughout the year. This fall festival brings you a harvest if you have been faithful in your “Givings.” This season you will sell something you had not been able to sell, unexpected monies will come into your hands could be through inheritance or some other way. During this festival there is a special New Year’s greeting, “May it be thy will O Lord, our God, to renew unto us a sweet, happy and joyful year. In the Lord Jesus Christ you and I truly have a new year, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” II Corinthians 5:17. The old year has closed off; let us move on with the New Year with Jesus, our precious Lord and Savior who loved us so much that He died on the cross. Thank you Father for your loving kindness! The Silver Trumpet Announces:

"God's Mercy Will Spare Us"
By: Prophetess hilda arredondo
"Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the Lord hath not done it? Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:6-7. I was awakened by the Holy Spirit on June 3rd 2010 to pray. I had been keeping up with as many reports on the Gulf Oil Spill as I could, listening to the Holy Spirit and praying every day. Suddenly, as I was praying in the quietness of these early morning hours, that stillness was interrupted by the alarms that suddenly went off in the house. As quickly as I could move I went to the bedroom door and above the sirens, said to my husband who had already jumped out of the bed, ”I think someone is trying to break in.” Then the phone started ringing and it was the alarm watch woman calling, who said, “Are you all right?” (By then Jose, my husband, had gone to the doors of our home and there was no sign of anyone being there and no sign of a break in). Through all of this commotion I kept hearing the Holy Spirit saying, “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion and sound an alarm in my holy mountain…” Joel 2:1. I glanced at the clock and it was 3:00 a.m. The alarm watch lady said, “Do you want me to call the police?” I asked my husband and he said, “No, it is not necessary; everything looks ok.” I was shocked when she (the alarm lady) said, “There was movement at your front and back door.” Immediately I began to question the Holy Spirit about all this. He said, that MOVEMENT at your front and back door was not someone trying to break in, but rather the wind of Almighty God and His presence. He wanted your ATTENTION; He knows what goes on in this place-the MOVEMENT OF PRAYER – THE DIVINE CONNECTION OF PRAYING PEOPLE who work with you in the unity of the faith. HIS PRESENCE fell on this House of Prayer and He came to tell you to sound the alarm to the praying people because your GULF COAST IS IN DANGER! Get the National Divine Connection Of Prayer going immediately, making a corporate Push of Prayer--You’re In Danger of a Gulf Coast Disaster.
SOUND THE ALARM
At that hour, I immediately called Anna, my secretary and dear friend of 30 years, and said, “Please get up quickly. God needs you to help me get a letter out to our praying friends. Our coastline is in danger!” From then until the sun began to come up we worked to get that Urgent Prayer Notice together. By noon of that day, the prayer notice was printed, mailed out to you, the praying people of the Lord. The prayer notice was titled, Possible Pending Disaster. All of you on my mailing list received this notice. Then I made arrangements to go on my local radio station, Blowing The Trumpet In Zion to the church “Praying People” to arise and pray. Because of that SOUND FROM HEAVEN at 3:00 a.m. June 3rd, 2010 that quickly prompted us to Emergency Prayer, I truly believe that we were spared the recent hurricane. That hurricane could have come full force into the Gulf of Mexico, pushing that oil on our shores, and causing a terrible devastation. By faith I had to move. Things in the kingdom do not move without finances. I did not have the money to do it – the cost was about $1,000 for radio time and printing, postage, etc. I just moved one step at a time and our Lord Jesus was helping me. To God be the Glory For His Mercy Endureth For Ever.
WHAT UNITED PRAYER DOES
At present they are still trying to cap the well. Possibly by the time you receive this newsletter, it will be capped. But all the awful rumors about what could have happened did not happen! This is because of your prayers and mine and the many other prayers of the saints throughout the nation. In Ezekiel 22:30, it reads, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Yes, the Lord called on us to stand in the gap. And it is not over; millions of gallons of oil are still standing in the Gulf of Mexico. We must continue to pray—still facing the hurricane season. Among other states, Louisiana carries the “Mantle of Prayer” - that, I do know. I am now a resident of Louisiana and blessed to be a part of all of you. In 1980 the Lord called me to Louisiana and in 1983 the Lord gave me a “Clarion Call” to go and declare to the Louisiana praying people and throughout the nation to pray for repentance followed by revival to come to America, which I did. The Magnolia State prayed and prayed. The churches, pastors and praying people who I worked with were so faithful to pray for our country. He called me back to Ohio in 1987. In 1988, I began to see something that the Holy Spirit was making me aware of and by 1990, Magnolia decor was everywhere! The only time that I would see a Magnolia in the past, was when I might stop in a rest stop in Mississippi or one of those southern states while traveling in the ministry.
MAGNOLIAS, MAGNOLIAS
But now, it was up North--dishes, pillows, bed spreads, wallpaper, etc. -- everywhere you turned there were Magnolias. This is what the Holy Spirit said to me. The “Prayers” of the Magnolia state (Louisiana) have reached heaven and have come up to me as they prayed for the country. Now I Am Raining Down Answered Magnolia Prayers Throughout The Nation – It is a sign that I have heard them. I’m honoring Louisiana by raining down the Magnolia upon the nation. That may sound incredible to you, but God does incredible things and He knows who’s who and who is truly doing what!! In the year 2000, after being there in Ohio for 14 years, He called me back to Louisiana. This time around, we have been here ten (10) years and don’t plan to go elsewhere—don’t know anything else that I should be doing, but to KEEP ON PRAYING. Thank you so much for being part of the NATIONAL DIVINE CONNECTION OF PRAYER. If you know of anyone who would like to work in prayer together with us, let us know. We now mail out prayer calendars, and prayer dispatch lists that you can pray over from the privacy of your own home.
BUILDING PROJECTS ALMOST DONE: Please continue to keep us in your prayers – We are still in need of the finances to finish some building projects in the ministry. We will soon enter into a rest from building. I want to see my precious husband and those men whom He has sent to uphold us in the Vision of Prayer, also enter into a rest. They are some of the finest men and warriors that I know. They have labored with us in God’s Kingdom as Nehemiah’s Team--With the Sword Of Prayer in One Hand and the Hammer in the other. To God Be the Glory!

The Silver Trumpet Announces:

"THE POTTER'S WHEEL AND THE EAST WIND" PART #4
GOD AGAINST PREJUDICE
Judgment #7 “And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.” Jonah 4:8. What was Jonah’s problem? A severe case of pride: He had delivered a prophetic word to the city of Nineveh and it did not come to pass; therefore, Jonah wanted to die. As the East Wind blows on our hidden pride of life, many of us will be put in situations that we would rather die than to face our relatives, friends, etc.
In addition to the pride of life, the hidden attitude of prejudice will also be judged. Churches which are populated with white people will be sent black, brown, and other nationalities by the Almighty God, to test their love for the brethren. If your church is populated with black people only, the Almighty God will send some of the white race into your congregation also, to test your true love for the brethren.
If you have denominational prejudice against your brother, then it is possible that the Almighty God, knowing that you have been a strict Pentecostal, may send you a Catholic daughter-in-law to love, or possibly you are a “Devout Catholic” and the Almighty God will send you a Pentecostal son-in-law to love. If God’s people refuse to deal with their pride of life or prejudice against denomination or color – then we will be judged with circumstances bringing great humility in our lives.
FRUIT OF HOLINESS
As the CHASTENING of the Lord comes to our lives by the East Wind, much fruit will come forth. “For whom the Lord loveth he chaseneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.” Hebrews 12:6-11.
Our Redeemer, forever loving His creation is come to the Church of Jesus Christ with the ROD OF CORRECTION. His chastening is for our good. As the East Wind blows and round and round we go on the Potter’s wheel, we will reflect the Potter’s dream, a people formed by grace unto His character, and above all, His holiness bringing forth the peaceable fruit of righteousness. “So see to it that you obey him who is speaking to you. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, how terrible our danger if we refuse to listen to God who speaks to us from heaven! When he spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but, “Next time,” he says, “I will not only shake the earth, but the heavens too.” By this he means that he will sift out everything without solid foundations, so that only unshakable things will be left. Since we have a Kingdom nothing can destroy, let us please God by serving him with thankful hearts, and with holy fear and awe. For our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:25-29 LB To God Be The Glory! Thank you so much for reading this message. The Silver Trumpet Announces:

"The Potters Wheel And The East Wind--Part #3"
BROKEN WILLS
Judgment #4 “Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.” Psalm 48:7. When the EAST WIND Blows, Our Strong Wills Will Be Broken! God wants broken vessels and all that has been built on man’s strength will be brought down. God will take us into His hand as the potter does to clay and crush our will. He will disrupt our everyday schedules and give us His plan for the day. “Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” I Corinthians 3:13-15
FOUNTAIN BECOMES DRY
Judgment #5 “Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the Lord shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall come up dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.” Hosea 13:15. The East Wind blew upon Ephraim, and his fountain and spring dried up. As the East Wind blows upon us, we will begin to experience a dryness which will drive us to our knees, longing after God like never before. The presence of God will withdraw so that we can judge ourselves. This new condition will cause us to look into the deep recesses of our hearts for the hidden sin. Through much soul searching, iniquity of the heart will surface so that we can remove it from our hearts.
The Presence of God is a blessing that should never be taken for granted by a people or a nation. I think about a woman who had a wonderful husband who loved her very much and provided very well for her, but she took him for granted and one day he left her. Immediately, she realized how much she truly loved him and how good he was, bringing her small gifts to show her his love, but now he was gone. She was so sorry that she had abused his goodness; nevertheless, she surrounded herself with memoirs that would remind her daily of him. She decided to leave his remaining clothes in their closet and kept his picture on the mantle, thinking about him constantly, praying he would come back to her. She had purposed in her heart to never give him up and wait upon his return. One day, there he was at her door. She ran to meet him, put her arms around his neck and held him tight and said, “I’ve changed and I will forever be your faithful bride.”
Sounds very much like what happened in our dry spell - - we will have to surround ourselves with His Word, read it daily, be faithful to Him, whether we feel Him or not, continue to assemble with the brethren. Then one day, we will feel His presence and our spring will be filled. Our fountain will run over and never again will we let Him go. Let us persevere to the end. If we don’t understand the East Wind Of Spiritual Dryness, then it’s possible to backslide back into the world. Beloved, let’s RUN THE RACE and WIN!
JUDGMENT ON LUSTS
Judgment #6 “He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind. He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea: And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations. So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire; They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths, The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel. For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.” Psalm 78:26-32. The East Wind Will Judge Our Lusts.
An excessive desire in any area is considered a lust. There are lusts of the eyes and lusts of the flesh. These lusts are accompanied by a spirit of covetousness, habits that are never satisfied. The children of Israel in their wilderness wanderings were never satisfied because their appetites (lusts) had not been circumcised. If you have a desire for the finer things of life in excess, as the East Wind blows, we will be stripped of all materialism until the only thing left will be our desire to love and serve Jesus. (Because of the length of this Prophetic Message we will be Posting a New Section Every Week during the Month of July. Next week will be the last and final part to this message.)
