Dear
Ministry friends, I am writing this newsletter to you during this Atonement
Season (Days of Awe) celebrated by Israel, which began 9/24/14. This season would last ten days from Rosh
Hashanah which is Jewish New Year to Yom Kippur, ten days later. The purpose of these ten days was to set
aside a time of repentance every year for the nation and the people of Israel.
The High Priest would go in once a year into the Holy of Holies and go through
all the rituals with the hope that their repentance was accepted and then God
would send the rains as a sign that He was well pleased! Everyone then knew that a good year was
coming in to bless them and they would also receive wonderful rewards from the
Lord. These ten days was God’s way of extending mercy to the lukewarm people
and the wicked. They would receive judgments if they didn’t repent. We are now
in the peak season of repentance, as Christians we are to search our own
hearts, find the lost--leading them to Jesus and the backslidden
to come back to Jesus. Today, you and I have a high priest.“Seeing then that
we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of
God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have
not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities;
but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly
unto the throne of grace, that we
may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews
4:14-16
Just as the high priest of Israel stood in the gap for Israel,
today, you and I have a high priest Jesus who lives in our hearts and we can
come boldly into the throne of grace (Holy of Holies) any day or night (not
just once a year) when we have a need or just need to stand in the gap for
someone. That is the difference between
the Old and New Testament. In Hebrews 7:22-25, it reads, “By so much was Jesus made a
surety of a better testament. And they truly were many priests, because they
were not suffered to continue by reason of death: But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by
him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. In Hebrews 7:22, it reads, “By so much was Jesus made a
surety of a better testament. And they truly were many priests because they
were not suffered to continue by reason of death: But this man, because he
continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to
save them to the unttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to
make intercession for them.
The priest lives in us today and we can come into the Holy of Holies
with boldness anytime. This 2014 Season
of Atonement, America has been found wanting in the balances. (Daniel 5:27)
Judgment will continue to fall on her (America) and the worldly church. This
church has works, charity, service and faith, but our Jesus has a few things
against these churches. He has given
them time to repent and yet they have not done so. Repentance is the key to
blessings and rewards from the Hand of God.
The judgment of God is upon America.
Begin to pray now for her, you and I can come boldly into the Holy of Holies
where we will find His presence and favor--we are carriers of the high priest
and His name is Jesus. We have the surety of a better covenant with our precious
Jesus who has an unchangeable priesthood. In Hebrews 9:15
it reads, “And for this cause he is
the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption
of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are
called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”
Come now wonderful people of God let us enter in to the
Holy of Holies and pray for our country. She has been found wanting in the
balances which will bring a severe judgment for her wickedness and the judgment
of the lukewarm worldly church is upon us!
Again let us come boldly before the throne of grace and find grace and
obtain mercy to help in our time of need. To God Be the Glory! In His love
