Sound the Alarm and Pray!
Dear Praying Friends, On this 3rd day of June 2010, I am coming to you with an Urgent Prayer Request – The OIL SPILL in the Gulf is an impending DISASTER waiting to happen! As I have prayed, the Holy Spirit has stirred up some thoughts in my heart and mind about the OIL SPILL. The last three attempts to cap the well out in the ocean have failed. Now they are saying it will be August before they can drill for another well that could be the solution to stop the present OIL SPILL.
After 43 days, thousands of gallons of oil have spilled out in the water along our Gulf Coast line which includes Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. We just started the 2010 HURRICANE SEASON--What would happen if a HURRICANE or a TROPICAL STORM with its STRONG WINDS, would come toward us here on the Gulf of Mexico? These storms could bring with them HIGH WAVES and WINDS (storm surges) that would begin to push this mixture of water and oil up onto our shores, homes, crops, roads and highways. Think about it - - What a terrible DISASTER this could cause for all the Gulf States!
We need to PRAY that our God in His Mercy Spare Us from any more DISASTERS with the OIL SPILL, and keep the storms out of the Gulf and Cover Us with the Blood of Jesus Christ! We need a MIGHTY MIRACLE to turn this possible DISASTER away from us. Pray they would also find a solution to stop the oil leak.
You and I are the people of God. We have the Power of Prayer to Reach Heaven and make holy supplication unto our God in Jesus’ name to be spared from any other possible OIL DISASTERS. “Forgive us, Oh God, where we have sinned against you and heal our land.” As We PRAY, We Will Make A Difference. What can we do? “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain…” Joel 2:1.
Begin to Call Your Prayer Groups to Urgently Pray and ask your Pastor to Open Your Church and Gather the Praying People and begin to Intercede with the Hope that our Prayers will Touch the Heart of God and "Great Repentance" will come and our prayers will "Avert This Pending Disaster" to Our Area and the Gulf of Mexico!
