A "NOW" WORD FROM HEAVEN
Arise, shine;
for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon
thee. For, behold, the
darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise
upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1-2. My Dear Praying Friends, if it has ever been a time of sinful darkness
upon the people and the land, it surely is today! Yet, this same scripture goes
on to say that when this happens, the
Lord shall arise upon His people, which are you and me, and at this time of
terrible darkness--HIS GLORY SHALL BE SEEN UPON US. Granted, this is a great hour of darkness,
but in Isaiah
59:19 it reads, “…When
the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard
against him.” Today in 2012, our God in Jesus’ name is still doing the same - RAISING
UP A STANDARD AGAINST THE ENEMY. Who is this standard today? It is you and I,
moving in UNITED PRAYER for revival to come to this country. As we pray for repentance followed by revival,
it will come. We started praying in the unity of the faith for many cities this
year, but one that we needed to truly pray for was New Orleans, La. There were
people praying specifically for this city throughout this nation. All cities are important; all need revival,
but New Orleans was first and foremost. As
we all know, there is a strong spirit of darkness and sinfulness that affects
the whole nation. This spirit must come down and our Jesus will help us and has
already begun. Even though hurricane Isaac
recently came through New Orleans and surrounding areas with strong winds and
rain, the damage did not destroy the city. To God be the Glory!
SPIRITUAL DELAY
OF REVIVAL
As I understand, in the beginning months of 2012, there was a
warning given by a woman prophetess that if the people and leaders did not respond
and repent there was great destruction coming to New Orleans. (This woman was
not me.) On the contrary, I went to the
people in the beginning of this year, right after that word was given and
declared that New Orleans would not be destroyed, if the leaders worked
together, and prayed fervently that repentance would come to New Orleans. I also spoke of the spiritual delay of
revival, because of jealousy, envy and strife in the area and in most cities
today. We want the popular speaker, some
Christian celebrity, or someone with a doctorate degree to come to our church
or our area to bring forth revival. I
can tell you it is not going to happen!
We can go on to the ends of the earth searching for celebrities or
speakers and will not find them. Why? Because HE, the REVIVAL WORKER can be
found, not on this earth, but rather in heaven as the “GOD OF HEAVEN.”
HE
CALLED MY NAME
In the beginning of this year when God called my name to go to
New Orleans, I had to be very sure. You
see, most Christians think it is an exciting thing to go do spiritual warfare
in New Orleans; but I know I will only go if God calls my name and He goes with
me. The Lord has shown me over the years that certain territories which are
possessed with evil powers and principalities, He only assigns. I cannot go on
my own presumption. You see, the powers
and principalities that are there in that city can destroy you and even kill
you if you go without God’s covering for that specific battle. Just because you
are an anointed child of God does not mean that you have been appointed. To
fight these giants you must be a holy warrior walking in holiness. “Having
therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all
filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” II Corinthians 7:1. After I settled the matter in my heart that it
was Him who was calling my name and as His servant on command, I obeyed and
went. Over the weeks I shared that if we
would continue to work together and pray, He was not going to destroy the city.
Why? Because He had a people, a remnant that He loved. There is a short time left to do this work and
we had to move quickly. What we needed to do was to seriously continue to cry
out for repentance and revival to come.
Many Pastors, and leaders began to hear even more clearly and prayed
fervently for their city; and you and I throughout the nation faithfully prayed
in the unity of the faith, supporting the New Orleans brethren that repentance,
followed by revival, would be poured out upon New Orleans and the nation.
PRAY
FOR EVERY STREET
Among the many strategies of prayer we have been involved in,
one was to pray for every street in New Orleans, against the murder and crime
wave upon that city. We still continue to send out the prayer request for the
streets. Right now one of the most
important things to pray for is the stopping of the shedding of blood through
abortions, crime and murder. Since the
beginning of this year, there have been 160 murders there, plus all the rapes,
thefts and other crimes. Spilt blood
will bring judgment to any nation and especially cities like New Orleans and
others. Now I know that blood is spilt in both small and big cities. But the spilling
of blood is always more in a big city and that’s when evil begins to tip the
scales of judgment. You see there’s
always been evil in our cities and nation, but there was more “good” tipping
the scales; therefore, judgment would not fall.
Now with the laws of God being thrown out and evil laws accepted, the
blood is running in our streets from abortions, murders, killings etc. Then this is what happens, evil tips the
scales and judgment falls on our cities and nation. If the spilling of blood continues, we are
not guaranteed that there will be no weather judgments.
GOD IS HEARING OUR PRAYERS
Just recently Israel celebrated the Feast of Rosh Hashanah
followed by Day of Atonement and then Tabernacles. God speaks spiritually to me through the
feasts. I have been celebrating the
spiritual side of the feast under the new covenant for about 28 years now and
He always speaks during the festivals.
Carrying Jewish blood in my veins might have something to do with that, but
I really don’t know. God speaks to me by the Holy Spirit in what He is doing on
the earth, what He is going to do and many times, how He is going to do it
through the festival seasons throughout the year. Is God hearing our prayers
for revival and repentance? Rosh Hashanah
was celebrated this past September 16, 2012 followed by the Days of Atonement,
which lasts ten days, bringing in the high day of Yom Kippur. What are the ten days for? For the lukewarm
people which are the ones that were not all bad, but yet not all good, kind of
straddling the fence (so to speak) are given ten days to search their hearts
and get it right before God. Then on Yom
Kippur, depending on their repentance, they are either judged for hurt or
blessed by rewards. I truly believe what
I’ve heard from the Holy Spirit is that the old year closed off and the New
Spiritual Year opened with great mercy for us because of all the united prayer.
JESUS
IS THE LIGHTHOUSE
I was told by a friend, and after doing some research, found out
that the New Canal Lighthouse on the West End--Lakeshore Drive was practically
destroyed during Hurricane Katrina, but has been worked on and rebuilt. On Yom Kippur this year, 2012, the Light House
was lit at sun down, after seven years of darkness. This is the Word from
Heaven that I have heard for us in October, 2012, after the festivals. God has
begun to hear the prayers and cries of the people of New Orleans and around the
nation. Earlier, I mentioned the people
in the nation that so faithfully prayed and supported New Orleans with their
prayers. God has therefore given us one
more year to continue to work hard for revival. First and foremost, tear down the wicked works
of darkness at the gates of New Orleans and the nation. There is an evil
upcoming holiday in October that must be uprooted from the cities in America
and especially New Orleans. Those celebrations bring much darkness, evil,
murder and all sorts of crimes into our cities. Let us pray and push back the works of
darkness – Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. The New Orleans Lighthouse lit a few weeks
back on Yom Kippur at sundown is our sign to go forth and continue to bombard the
gates of heaven with prayer. Cry, weep and do not let go of the horns of the
altar until revival comes! Our Precious
Savior Jesus Christ said this to us; “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not
walk in darkness, but shall have
the light of life.”
John 8:12.
America must once again become that “Beacon of Light” to the
world. Remember that Yom Kippur began at sundown; therefore, it is not quite
night yet. The sun is just going down;
let us quickly move in UNITED PRAYER and let us love one another and let God be
