Strong "Typhoon Wind" Will Sweep America!
This is a prophetic word given to
hilda arredondo in the latter part of 1992 and released in January 1993. With
all that’s currently happening with the economy in America and around the world
we would like to share this “Word of Prophecy” with you in 2012.
As you read this word you will see
that in the fall of 2008 this following prophecy of "Wall Street News and
Collapse of Economy" which we are experiencing today--was declared nineteen
(19) years ago! Why did it take that long?? Because we serve a loving God of
mercy who gave America time to repent of her idolatry and she did not! The word
of God also tell us that if someone prophesies a word and that word does not
come to pass, then they are NOT a true prophet, but can be a presumptuous true
child of God who missed it, not necessarily a false prophet. Please read the
following message and see how the true "Eleventh" Hour Prophets
announce because of His love for us, so we can be better prepared for what is
coming. "And when we had launched from thence, we
sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.” Acts 27:4. Paul, a
prisoner of Rome, was put into a ship to sail at a time that the winds were
contrary or stormy! Paul knew that this was not the time to venture out into
the stormy seas. The book of Acts, chapter 27:9 reads, “Now
when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast
was now already past…” The fast that Paul
referred to here in this passage of scripture was the Feast Day of Atonement.
This was sometime late October bringing them to the end of the year. Venturing
out on long voyages this late in the season was dangerous. Stormy and turbulent
seas lay ahead for them, and the Holy Spirit revealed it to Paul. Therefore, he
knew it and tried to warn them. Today the Holy Spirit calls out to us and
speaks prophetically through His servants, the prophets – of things to come in
the near future. Now some of us have had a few rough days of sailing with
strong winds, so to speak, in our own Christian walk. The winds of problem
situations, trials and tribulations – but they don’t compare to what lies ahead
for this nation "Economically". The Holy Spirit warns us as the end of the
year approaches, just as Paul warned at that time that the weather was becoming
dangerous for long voyages that late in the year. Therefore, it is also too
late for us to make long range planning into the future economically without
the true guidance and leading of His Hand. We are at the end of the season or
the end of the age, and we draw closer to the day of His coming as we move into
1993. The upcoming year is a season to consider every step that we take,
prayerfully and with much caution as you seek the Holy Spirit for all areas of
your life.
CLOSING OF THE AGE
As we draw closer to the year 2000, the closing of the age, we
should make every day count for Him and His Gory! Our priorities in planning
for the coming year should be ones that include the furthering of the Kingdom
of God upon this earth, to be a witness to a lost and dying world, and a
laborer in your church where the Lord has placed you. Now Paul admonished them
and said, “…Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much
damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.” Acts 27:10. In this
verse of scripture, Paul warned the officers of the ship of four things:
shipwreck, loss of cargo, injuries and death. The Holy Spirit calls out to us
this coming year to pay heed to His voice so that we can come through the
"Economic Stormy Seas" in one piece without harm. This nation can be compared to
a "big ship" which has lost its course and is headed toward an
economic storm! (today 2012 coming
to pass) If we refuse to heed the Word of God, many of us will find
ourselves loosing our “cargo." Our earthly material possessions can be
compared to the “cargo.” Some of us will be hurt physically and mentally
because of the strain and stress of finances! Others will find their faith
shipwrecked, die spiritually and fall away from the faith. (Today, many are losing their material possessions,
houses, cars and jobs in 2012. The word coming to pass in due season.)
HOUR OF CALAMITY
Our God in heaven has always had voices for the “Hour of Calamity” who warn God’s people so that they don’t come to any harm. Yet,
there have always been those that refuse to listen – just as in the time of
Paul! “Nevertheless the centurion believed the
master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by
Paul”. Acts 27:11. In one Bible translation it says the “Pilot”
of the ship. The owner of the ship did not believe Paul. After all, who was
this man? He had no doctorate degrees, no social standing – just a prisoner!
Now the centurion was a man that commanded 100 men and the pilot of the ship.
Surely, he would know because of his position of authority! Many times as God’s
people we are the same way. (We are the same way today in 2012 in America, we
have respect of persons) When God speaks we look
for titles, doctorate degrees, and if we don’t see those earthly credentials,
then we discard the “voice” of God because our eyes are upon the vessel instead
of having our spiritual ears opened to what the Spirit of the Lord is saying.
Yes, these men over the ship had position and authority, but no ear to hear
from God. Therefore, they paid a dear price that could have been avoided if
they had only listened! In II Chronicles 20:20,
it reads, “…Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe
his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” God
wants us to prosper physically, spiritually, mentally and financially. Some
spiritual and national leaders tell us that our economy is not really bad
compared to other nations who are worse off – that we are okay! They don’t talk
much about the auto industry that is leaving our America and going to other
countries, or the many companies who are closing down because they already know
that America’s economy is collapsing! They don’t want to be around when the big
crash hits in the near future. They see the writing on the wall, yet many
Christians continue to live like there is no tomorrow! “And
because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to
depart from there also…” Acts 27:12. Here,
the “more part” means the majority advised, or the crew advised, and that’s
where we are in America today – the people advising in crucial matters without
truly seeking the Lord. Our present democracy calls for the majority to rule
and that is okay when you have a majority that is hearing from God. Today in
America and the church, very few are willing to pay the price to hear from God.
These people in the book of Acts, instead of listening to the “Voice” of God
through Paul, turned a deaf ear. Today, we also need good strong men in spiritual
leadership—true Shepherds that love and care for the flock and are hearing from
God! We need to be in a congregation or body who has holy and Godly
appointed leadership, and is led by His voice; not by men appointed leaders who
don’t have the faintest idea of what the Lord is saying for “The Hour”.
DECEIVED BY THE SOUTH WIND
Acts 27:13 reads, “And when the south wind
blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose…” Yes,
all this crew could see was the present – the natural! The south wind is a warm
wind that blows gently and gives you a relaxed feeling. They had been sailing
along smoothly in the south wind – no cares or concerns, everything was
comfortable, no turbulent seas, or so they thought! They could not discern what
lay ahead for them. That is where a lot of God’s good people are today. They
don’t want you to rock the boat. They want to hear smooth things like – “Tell
me about the blessings I’m entitled too.” Their attitudes communicate – “Don’t
tell us to put away our sins. Let me sit in disobedience, sexual immorality and
sinful attitudes. God loves us anyway. We are under the blood! I don’t want to
hear doom and gloom." – but Beloved, don’t you know that God’s prophets
speak truth in this hour. The true love of God warns, chastises and leads us
into the peaceable fruit of righteousness. The Lord Jesus has His “Eleventh Hour” Prophets who
stand before the Father in Heaven – hear – and in turn, alert His church. They
are chosen vessels, prisoners for Christ, ambassadors in bonds! Just as I was
sitting and typing this article for the printing press, I heard this big crash
coming from one of our offices. The crash came from the direction of the
finance department! I immediately got up and went to see if someone had fallen.
To my surprise it was my beautiful 2’ x 3’ big American Eagle holding the
United States emblem shield. When it fell and hit the floor, there were some
small pieces that splintered off, but the wings were evenly broken off. My God, Church, He is speaking; America is gong to crash economically if she doesn’t
repent. Our God will break off her wings of power and wealth and she will no
longer fly high in her prideful blasphemous attitude against the Almighty God.
She will be brought low! (This started happening way back when, but no one can
deny that in the fall of 2008, we all began to see it.)
A STRONG TYPHOON WIND
"But not long after there arose against
it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon. And when the ship was caught, and
could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive.” Acts 27:14-15. Euro is
a Greek Latin term that means East and “aquilo” means North wind. So, therefore
a Northeast wind of typhoon strength or a “Northeasterner” was encountered as
they sailed along smoothly. It caught them off guard, and they lost their
course. If we don’t seek the Lord’s direction in this hour, many good
Christians will lose their course with Jesus. They had lost their course
because of rebellion against the Word of God and their refusal to listen to
God’s chosen vessel, Paul. Remember this wind came with no warning and very
abruptly! As God’s prophets look into the spiritual realm, they can see America
headed toward an ECONOMIC WIND OF TYPHOON STRENGTH hitting Wall Street, the
economic (money) capital. We can say, that Wall street (New York City) is
located in the Northeastern part of the United States. What happens there will
affect this entire country. An economic crash there can be compared to a strong
Northeastern typhoon wind sweeping this nation.
In Acts 27:17, “Which when they had taken up, they used helps,
undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands,
strake sail, and so were driven.” V.18, “And we being exceedingly tossed with a
tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; (v.19) And the third day we cast
out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.” The
first thing they did as they approached this strong typhoon wind was to
undergird the ship. They banded the ship with ropes, strengthening the hull.
The hull is the belly of the ship. We also need to be strengthened spiritually.
Therefore, this coming year, let us get back into the pure Word of God, build
strong faith, and renew our relationship with Jesus. Let us strengthen the
belly of our spirit-man, so we can weather out any storm that may come our way!
(This is what we need to do today in 2012) The second thing they did was to lighten
the ship of unnecessary cargo – certain belongings went overboard. Many of you
are being dealt with to simplify your lives, get rid of unnecessary belongings
(cargo), lighten the load; get rid of excess debt and useless luxuries that are
bogging you down. Some of you have not understood that it is the Lord dealing
with you. The thing or things you are holding onto may be the very things that
will cause you to go down with the ship (America’s Economy) and drown! Finally,
the tackling (pulley) or the ropes for pulling and moving heavy weights went
overboard. The tackling would no longer be needed because they got rid of
unnecessary items. Prophetically speaking, as Christians, we need to drop
preconceived ideas, our own ingenuity's and excess baggage. Then our load will
be lightened! The Lord who uses all things to accomplish His Holy purposes on
this earth, will use this strong "Economic
Typhoon Wind" to deal with the sin of covetousness and lust of the eyes
(materialism) in the hearts of the American people.
SOME LISTENED AND WERE SPARED
And when neither sun nor stars in many days
appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was
then taken away”. Acts 27:20 For
days there was no sun or light. It was a time of darkness. There was nothing
these people could do, but to hold onto God’s Word and pray. The coming "Economic Typhoon Wind" (storm)
will bring with it a time of darkness upon our nation. We will have to trust
the promise of His Word and hold onto Jesus like never before! His Word is a
lamp and a light to our path. (This Typhoon Wind of economics is now upon us and in a matter of a short time, we
will see it, but if America repents things will change for the better). “But
after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye
should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have
gained this harm and loss. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there
shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.” Acts 27:21-22 First
of all, Paul began to fast and pray. The church of Jesus Christ in America is
being called to seasons of prayer and fasting this coming year – so that we too
can hear the voice of God for direction. Paul comforted them by telling them
that the ship would go down, but not one man’s life would be lost. God’s voice
says the same to us today. America (ship) may go down economically, but if
God’s people seek Him and obey His instruction, they will not go down. He will
preserve them in the midst of a strong typhoon wind of economic trouble. This
is why true apostles are needed for the hour 2009, they carry the anointing of
true leadership. These are men and women who have the real credentials--not
just a business card, but rather carry the spiritual marks of the holy crucible
they have been in. “But when the fourteenth night was come, as we
were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they
drew near to some country;” Acts 27:27 Yes,
they went into deep waters for a good while, but God’s promise proved to be true –
that on the fourteenth day they were delivered. The number fourteen
prophetically speaks of salvation and deliverance. “And as
the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat
into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchor out of the foreship.
Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship,
ye cannot be saved. Acts 27:30-31 Yes, some tried to sneak
off the boat on the pretense that they were going to cast anchors out of the
ship, but Paul who could see right through the motives of the hearts of men,
told them to abide in the ship or they would not be saved. God’s prophets say
to His people – “Stay close to a good church. Don’t
get caught outside the umbrella of divine protection (Jesus). Don’t take
foolish chances with sin and lose your salvation. Insure your financial
security by bringing your tithes and offerings into the House of God, which
opens the banking systems of Heaven when we are in need.” Beloved,
we are moving toward a strong typhoon wind of economic disaster! Only a miracle
of repentance can avert our judgment. Pray and call upon His Name without
ceasing this coming year, 1993, and He will lead you…Amen.
