Judgment Of Destruction Upon America
Praying Friends, At present we are
under the most tremendous weather judgments here in America. Many people
have no idea why this is happening. You look on the TV News and
Newspapers and the terrible destruction of towns and cities looks like war
zones. All the destructive weather now upon us is because of our much
disobedience against God and breaking His commandments. Our Lord does
have a praying remnant in our nation whose knees do not rest from prayer and
repentance. Unless America repents from its evil and wicked ways, the
weather judgments will continue and become more severe. We will see more
people killed and our nation’s homes and businesses
destroyed. Some of us are not listening and many in the church aren’t
either. Corruption is all around us.
Where are the voices that call
us back to repentance and righteousness, declaring judgment upon a nation like
ours? What makes us think that we will continue in our sins and
abominations with no repercussions? Where is “John the Baptist”? I mean
the real HOLY MEN of God. I am not talking about men who are involved
in sin while preaching from America’s pulpits, those who pull out
their business cards with no real training, who have not been to the backside
of the desert, nor the schools of holiness. Some are adulterers,
fornicators, drunkards, and pornographers - men and women
with unclean spirits - UNHOLY. We need the real holy John the
Baptists. I would like to share with you about him. Malachi 3:1-2 ”Behold, I will send my messenger, and he
shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly
come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in:
behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. But
who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth?...” (Certainly not many leaders of today
will be able to stand when he appeareth) Malachi 3:2-3 “…for he is like a refiner's fire, and like
fullers' soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he
shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may
offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.”
CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS
Who is this messenger in verse 1
that goes before us to prepare the way? Matthew 3:1-3 “In those days came John the Baptist,
preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom
of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias,
saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the
Lord, make his paths straight.” Where are the STRAIGHT path church leaders leading the modern
day church into righteousness and holiness? Where are the voices of those
crying in the wilderness? Many are sex crazed individuals trying to make
out with the women in their church or vice versa. Others are pornographers
waiting to get out of the pulpit so they can go home, eat and sit before their
computers and watch uncleanness while their wives sigh and cry, heartbroken
over their sinfulness and rejection. Then they declare, “I am a child of
God, born again and God does not mind what I do!” They are totally
deceived in their sin of evil, unclean lust, remaining in the evil captivity of
their hearts.
THE CROSS AND HOLINESS
John the Baptist was not Elijah –
yet he was compared to Elijah. John the Baptist was sent to prepare and
make the way straight for our Lord’s first coming. The things he spoke
did not make sense to the Pharisees and teachers of that time; they thought
John was a madman. The teachers of the law thought they had it together;
they knew their scrolls, yet John cried out to them, Repent! Repent! Matthew 3:7-8
“But when he saw many of the
Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of
vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth
therefore fruits meet for repentance:”
We are the same
today; we say we are the children of God, born again and have the Word of
God. We think that we have it together, but we are deceived and far from
it! John had been in the wilderness in an attitude of communion with God.
His message was not a popular one; it cried repent of wrong attitudes,
lusts and pride. He warned them that it was not enough to know and quote the
Word, but they must put it into practice and be doers of all the law, not only
the things that were pleasing to them. So much like some in the church
today – we love teachings on success, prosperity and prophecies on how we are
going to be great ministers and mighty saints of God, but shun the CROSS and
HOLINESS in our lives.
Holiness and the cross is the very thing needed as a
prerequisite to real prosperity. Prosperity is only a by-product of living holy
and righteous before God. If HOLINESS and the CROSS have been worked in
our lives, then we will not want an abundance of material riches. We will
truly begin to walk like the servants of the New Testament with true
contentment and fulfillment. Paul said in Philippians 4:11-12 “Not that I speak in respect of
want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I
know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all
things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to
suffer need.”
I MUST DECREASE
In the book of Malachi there are
(32) thirty-two sins mentioned. Some are: dishonoring God, irreverence,
despising the name of God, profaning God’s table, insincerity, deception,
resisting God, working wickedness, tempting God. Are we who are in the
Church of Jesus Christ guilty of any of these? Are we hearing
voices from the wilderness that cry – let’s repent and turn back to our first
love? Does this sound strange to our ears? John was a strange voice
in the midst of the Pharisees and teachers of the law. Do we shun that voice
and ask how can it apply to me? John was sent to make straight the path.
Straight means a straight line, unswerving, direct, without deviation.
God is calling us to walk in a straight and narrow path. Matthew
7:14 “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto
life, and few there be that find it.”
Some
thought John the Baptist was Elijah. Who is Elijah? Elijah was a
mighty prophet of God and yet very much a human like us today. James 5:17 “Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly
that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three
years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the
earth brought forth her fruit.” Elijah
was raised up by the Hand of God at a time that much idolatry was in the land –
Baal, Ashtorah, molten and graven images. You could call him a modern day
“Hatchet man” – raised by the Hand of God to clean IDOLATRY from among the
people of God. God challenged the false prophets’ power and authenticity
through His prophet Elijah. Elijah knew and had a personal relationship
with God. Elijah knew that he served a HOLY God who was greater than ALL.
Elijah was jealous for his God. (1 Kings 19:14) Can
you imagine one man alone – he probably seemed like a madman to the false
prophets who were deceived to think they were serving the real God.
Elijah was a man of prayer power and could touch the throne of God.
God demonstrated His POWER with fire that came down in the evening and
consumed the sacrifice. Everyone who was present bowed down before Jehovah God,
the Almighty One. Elijah did not pat the Baal prophets on the back and say,
“Well boys, you all fought a good fight, let’s shake hands and be friends.” On
the contrary, he took them down by the Brook Kishon and killed every one of
them, not one was allowed to live. The false prophets had to die so only
the TRUTH could prevail. So true of us today, all of self and falseness
in our lives have to die in order for Jesus to reign supreme. John
3:30 “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE
God in this hour is dealing with a
group of men and women who will surrender ALL and come help prepare the way for
the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. These saints are men and women of
prayer. They have been in their closets fasting, praying and waiting for the
trumpet sound from the Holy Spirit to blow. This is their signal to come
forth as an Elijah, John the Baptist messenger. They are going to be used
by God to help clean up the Church so that she can truly step out as that
beautiful bride to the surrounding communities with love, power and
deliverance. These men and women of God will move in the power, anointing
and love of Jesus Christ. One of the first assignments will be to help
build up the broken altars of true worship in our hearts. John
4:23 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship
the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
Some of these MESSENGERS will be well-known vessels who
will change their messages overnight and bring a message of repentance and
holiness, helping and encouraging the body of Christ to live a balanced truth.
Others will be brand new faces who will be raised up by the Hand of God as a
ROD of iron in His hand. Micah 4:13 “Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I
will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat
in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the Lord, and
their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.”
These
saints of God have been stripped and humbled by the Mighty Hand of God.
They have paid the price of being set apart for consecration and
sanctification. They have been stripped of lust of the eyes, lusts of the
flesh, and pride of life and no longer love the world or the riches in it.
They are content to be servants of God. True contentment does not
come from poverty or by having abundance of wealth, but rather from serving and
loving God.
DETHRONEMENT OF SELF
These saints will not strive for material things of this world because they already have EVERYTHING in Christ Jesus. Because of their humbleness, our Lord God will prosper them but for the purpose of becoming a CHANNEL to bless the body of Christ and those in need. God has had these saints in their personal wilderness TRAINING like John the Baptist, dealing with their hearts. Some have had terrible deaths to self – God has taken them to the cross of death to self (dethronement of self) and they have spent time in the Garden of Gethsemane with their Master. They now have a new revelation of what it means to truly love God, forsaking all for the Kingdom of God and His merciful love. Matthew 3:11-12 “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." Yes, Elijah and John came to lay the way straight, to take the axe to the roots of sin in our lives, roots of bitterness, resentment, lusts and pride and uncleanness.
AMERICA, QUICKLY REPENT
Beloved, if the Holy
Ghost’s dealings are in your life now regarding a hidden sin, a form of lust,
or any other secret sin, now is the time to let God take the axe to the root,
lay it down at the altar and let God consecrate you in that area. Will
you answer the call to the altar of sanctification, holiness and consecration
so that we can go forth as a holy priesthood? (Hebrews
10:19-22) Hear the John the Baptists. If not, our nation will
be destroyed with terrible tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes,
tsunamis, volcanoes and many other weather calamities. Let us become
doers of the Word of God that if my people which are called by my name humble
themselves and pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will
hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land. Let us pray that
America repent quickly and turn back to the God of the Bible. To God Be The Glory!
