A Prophetic Word From Hilda

"He cried also in mine ear with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand. And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar.” Ezekiel 9:1-2 The Higher Gate is God’s Gate. The North direction depicts judgment; therefore, judgment was on its way from the very Hand of God! These six men carried slaughter weapons in their hands. They were instructed by Almighty God to go into His house and wait by the brazen altar before they began their slaughter of judgment. Who were these men? They were the executors of God. We also read in this chapter, that the Glory of God was about to exit the house of God. God’s presence was no longer in the Most Holy Place, but it was at the threshold getting ready to depart. “And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house….” Ezekiel 9:3a. When God withdraws His presence from a people or a nation, there is always judgment! God’s glory would no longer dwell among their abominations. He would depart, but, before He did, He looked back and gave an order of mercy toward His people. The Lord would not allow the judgment to be poured out unless “His own” were divinely protected. “And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.” Ezekiel 9:4. Yes, His mercy and grace was extended to those who stood as His people in the midst of abominations.

You see, not everyone standing in the house of God that claimed to be part of God’s bunch were claimed by God. He was going to mark those that had a pure heart. He told the man with the writer’s inkhorn to mark them on the forehead. This would be a mark of distinction. There was something different about these marked people. What made them so different? They sighed and cried because of their concern for all the abominations that were going on in the house of God. They were set apart, living holy lives. They were in prayer, waiting for the voice of God. They were the prayer warriors and intercessors of that time. Sister Intercessors, do you know that everyone that claims to be part of the house of God may not be a child of God? Being in a house of God does not necessarily mean you are His child. There were at the time of Ezekiel, some in the house of God, who were doing abominable things. What is an abomination? The dictionary describes an abomination as a hateful or detestable thing. Today, nothing has changed! The same still exists. Some Christian lives are abominable! They could care less about living holy lives. They sit in His house, and then leave the church, living their own shameful lives and bringing dishonor to the name “Christian.”
Those that were committing abominations were doomed. “…Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women…” Ezekiel 9:5-6. Judgment was destined to come upon the once called Holy City because of their abominable living. God would become the “Smiter” instead of their “Blessor.” In 2Timothy 2:19, “Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” God tells us in His word, that if we are going to say we are His, “we are Christians”, then depart from iniquity. We cannot continue in the old life styles of the world. Some who claim to be His are still involved in pornography, fornication, adultery, and sexual perversions. They are liars, dishonest, cheaters, and gossipers. They divorce and remarry different partners as one would change outfits. Because of their shameless behavior and sinfulness, they bring dishonor to the name of our Lord. “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.” II Timothy 2:20-21. Yes, the Lord said through the Apostle Paul, “In My house I have some who honor My Word and My ways, and others who do not. Instead, they dishonor me!” Back in the time of Ezekiel, God instructed the men in white linen to mark His people on the foreheads. Who were these marked individuals? They were the praying people who were interceding because of the abominable things that were happening in the nation and the church. Today, history repeats itself. Our God has those that are standing in the gap – praying and interceding for the abominations going on in the midst of America. Intercessors are sealed on the foreheads with the mark of the Holy Spirit, a mark of distinction. Then, when the man comes with a slaughter weapon, His people cannot be touched! They are sealed with an invisible seal and shielded from anything the devil may throw their way. Arise, O Intercessors, and look! Begin to pray-intercede-cry because of the horrendous abominations going on in the midst of the churches and our nation. Arise, intercessor, and rejoice because we have been sealed by the Holy Spirit and no slaughter weapon can touch us. For in the midst of judgment upon the land, Jesus will keep His own.

"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper…” Isaiah 54:17. Several years ago, we were on a week’s tour, visiting and having meetings with the praying people in Southern Louisiana. We had spent the previous night at a motel in a nearby town. We had to be in the New Orleans area for a few more meetings within the next few days. We had gotten up early that morning and had our usual daily time of devotion in the Word and prayer. After breakfast, we pulled out on Interstate 10 and headed for New Orleans. In a couple of hours we would reach our destination. All of a sudden, the Spirit of the Living God fell upon my husband and me. We began to worship and praise God in the "High Praises". As we continued to pray and worship, we began to feel the presence of the Lord in a MIGHTY WAY. Several minutes passed, and I picked up in the Spirit, through the Word of Knowledge, that someone had a gun and was going to try to shoot us. As I spiritually discerned the thoughts that were coming to me, Josè and I continued to Praise the Lord with Shouts Of Joy! Because I wanted to be sure that this was the Lord speaking to me, I appeared to be hesitating to share with Josè my thoughts about the gun for further confirmation. You see, here we were, traveling peacefully in our ministry call that our God had given us. We didn’t know anyone on the freeway, and we like to think that we don’t have enemies, yet, we know that as Christians, we do have an enemy number one. His name is the "devil", the one who goes around seeking whom he may devour. (I Peter 5:8)
We must have praised our God for about twenty to twenty-five minutes. After a few miles, we quieted down and traveled in the quietness of that marvelous experience of praise, prayer, and worship. It was as if both of us were asking the same question to ourselves – “God, what was that all about?” When all of a sudden, out of nowhere it seemed, an older red pickup truck pulled up next to Josè on the driver’s side and honked the horn at us. Not expecting any trouble, we were caught by surprise! An older, bald-headed man about in his 60’s pointed a gun at us. I immediately shouted, “Josè, that man has a gun; he is going to shoot us!” Josè quickly looked and pulled his foot off the van accelerator, which caused us to slow down immediately. Because of the upcoming traffic behind him, the red pickup truck was forced to move ahead and pulled in front of us. Josè kept slowing down in the traffic. There was some traffic, but it was sparse. The man kept turning around with the gun in his hand and trying to get aim at us through the back windshield of his vehicle. We looked for an exit, but there was none; therefore, we kept driving ahead. We both kept calling on Jesus for help. Then, Josè said, “There is only one thing to do and that is to pass him and try to outrun him.” We were driving a fairly new van and Josè barreled out into the left lane and put the “Pedal To The Metal” as they say. Now I was going to be the one to come up next to the driver’s side of this madman. As we went around his truck, we heard the gun shots fired at us. My immediate instinct was to hit the floor in the van. We sped along quickly, drove a few miles, and finally lost him in the traffic before we could exit.
Jose jokingly called out to me, “Some big woman of faith you are! I’ve never seen anyone move as quickly as you did when we passed that madman.” I answered, laughingly, “God didn’t make me a fool either.” We both had a great laugh! As soon as we could get to a telephone, we stopped and called the authorities, but there was nothing much they could do at this point – the gunman had escaped. Josè carefully checked the van for bullet holes. We knew he shot at us because both of us heard the shots, yet, there were NO Bullet Holes or chips in the van paint, which would have been evidence of the shots. We Rejoiced Because We Knew That The Lord Had Been Our Divine Protector!

"The Holy Spirit immediately gave me a revelation as to what had happened. He said, “When you went into the high praises and worship, you brought down the presence of God as an ‘invisible shield’ from heaven to divinely protect you from the fiery darts (bullets) of the evil one, and “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1 He further reminded me of Ezekiel, Chapter nine and said, “Intercessors are marked with a seal of divine protection on their foreheads and a slaughter weapon cannot touch them." To God Be The Glory!
